PROVN OF LIGHTENING CONDUCTORS AT MILITARY STATION DHRANGADHRA UNDER GE (A) GNADHINAGAR

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying under ground cable in hard and dense soil and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete in foundations of poles, filling and mass concrete type D2, 1:4:8 using 40 mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete for coping of poles type C1 1:3:6 using 20mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying of steel tubing medium grade galvanised of size 50mm dia laid in trench for protection of strip or stand for lightening arresters complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for copper strip of 20mm X 3.15mm with insulator, screws/ washers etc. over PVC saddles/spacers on wall and roof of bulding complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Max distance between spacers/saddles is 0.5 mtr.

Material and labour for air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long brazzing properly with copper strip on pole and connected with earthing strip complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for test point terminal block made out of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 X 75 X 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25mm long hax, head screw complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for pipe chemical earthing with GI pipe electrode 2.25 metre long having outer pipe nominal dia 80mm and inner dia 50mm duly filled with highly conductive and corrosive compound of required quantity having chemical betonite 40% copper sulphate 20%, Gypsum 5%, Grafite 10%, Alum 5%, Zinc sulphate 10%, Aluminium sulphate 10% Buried in ground digging a bore of 150mm dia surrounded by soil friendly backfill compound non soluble in water including connection with and including copper strip 20 X 3.15 mm upto 7.5m PCC pit with RCC cover etc complete. Note: Rate quoted by tenders shall be deemed to include for following provisions. (1) Excavation & earth work in any type of soil including removing of surplus material upto 50mtr. (2) PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in pit & 40mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 50 X 50cm with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C both ways with handles. (3) Main Earthing strip of 20 X 3.15 mm from earth electrode to test point. (4) Provision of test point and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
