Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils, rocks & E&B etc. As met at site , true to lines as per plan, L section , Cross slope, super elevation as required , also including uprooting & cutting of bushes, dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes, with all lift & leads, required for safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places indicated in drawings by mechanical means/ manual means and including construction of required coolie walling of minimum height of 0.60 mt with the stones available from the required hill side cutting for retaining the muck, without otherwise damaging the forest , forest land , utilities, private and public properties ,including slip clearance and its safe disposal (same as per mentioned above for safe disposal of surplus excavated material), till the completion of the work as per part II special conditions of contract, MORD specification Clauses 1601,1602 & 1603, and as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

PROTECTION WORK:

Excavation for Structures: - Excavation in foundation for cross drainage structures, retaining walls, Breast walls, breast walls and other similar structure in all types of soils and rocks as met at site with all leads, lift and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer - in - Charge also including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc required for proper completion of work. (For R/W and B/W)

Construction of R. R . stone masonry in cement mortar 1:5 including supply of all materials, labor, t&p & royalty etc, required for proper completion of work as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD specifications Clause 700 &1604. (For retaining wall (Bended wall & 20 Cm. top of dry wall) and Breast wall (bended wall))

Random rubble stone masonry for structures laid dry by locally available approved stone including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc required for proper completion of work as per Drawing and MORD specification for, retaining walls, breast walls & other similar structures etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (For R/W and B/W)

HP stone filling in back of walls including supply of all material. labour. T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. (For R/W and B/W)

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighting not less than 25 Kg each as per drawing and technical specification of MORD and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing of. Edge Stones 12cm x 12cm X 60cm size precast in M15 cement concrete with 4 nos. 8 mm dia HYSD vertical bars and 3 nos 6mm dia MS bar stirrups as per approved drawing including two coat white washing on valley side of formation.

Construction of Parapet in R.R. Stone masonry laid in 1:5 C/S mortar providing M-10 grade concrete in foundation and M20 cement concrete in top, plaster in 1:4 C/S mortar & Flush pointing in 1:3 C/S Mortar as required and specified in detailed drawing with white washing complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

SIDE DRAIN

Cleaning of Drain:- Maintenance of Drains The maintenance of drains include erosion, repair, clearing. Cleaning, reshaping, regrading, deepening of side drains as well as catch water drains as per technical specification Clause1907.

Construction of Hill side Pucca KC Drain in accordance with the requirement of specification true to line and grades dimensions and other particulars as per Drawing including all material labour T&P etc required for proper completion of the work as directed by Engineer in charge.

Excavation of foundation as per item no.3

Plaster in 1:4 Cement sand mix as per item no 12

CROSS DRAINAGE WORK

SCUPPER

Construction of 1 m span scupper of RR 1: 5 abutment, RCC slab as per attached drawing including supply of all material labor, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work. C/0 1 m span culvert with C.C. base.

Providing and fixing in position pipe railing consisting of IS Rolled steel joist posts designation IS MB 100 (100x75) at 2.5 m interval and three rows of 50 mm dia steel pipes (light) including fixing in position on bridge deck complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1208.2

EARTHAN SHOULDERS SUPER ELEVALATION.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Roadway Cutting Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5. (Sub grade preparation Pattri filling)

Making of Super Elevation:- Excavation of cutting in soil by manual means with lead upto 50 m Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with a lift upto 1.50 m and lead upto 50 m as per Technical Specification Clouse 302.3.

Random Rubble stone masonry in Coolie walling including supply of all material, labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of the work.(As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications)

PAVEMENT WORK

Granular sub-base/base/surface course with local materials (Table 400.13) by mix in place method normal Construction of granular sub-base by providing local material spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at once and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Clause 401.4 as per Technical (Using naturally occurring gravel Specification Clause 408. (Using naturally occurring gravel, Local GSB)

WBM Grading 2 - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam. specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. By Mechanical Means

WBM Grading 3 - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. By Mechanical Means

Primer coat:- Providing and applying primer coat Low porosity with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) complying with IS 8887 on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70- 1.00 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Tack coat:- Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (rapid Setting RS-1Grade complying with IS: 8887) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Premix carpet:- Providing laying and rolling of cold mixed open graded Premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm 11.2 mm aggregates using cationic bitumen emulsion (Medium setting MS Grade complying with IS: 8887) to required line, grade and level serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing in a suitable plant laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type B as per MORD Specification clause 505.2

Seal coat:- Providing and laying seal coat by Bituminous (SS-2) as for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical specification Clause 508.

Road Furniture

Providing and fixing of kilometer stone as per standard drawing made of precast R:C:C 1:2:4 fixed with CC 1:3:6 including excavation of pit. Painting and Printing letters on Kilometer stone with two cost of approved synthetic enamel paint of approved.

Mulching material applying bituminous emulsion at the rate of 0.231 per sqm and laying and fixing jute netting, including watering for 3 months all as per clause 310 & S.No 8.11 MORD Specification 1600 & 300.

Soil Erosion & Slope Protection- Providing fixing of Maxalt empty Drums including /Providing steel Bar @12 mm Dia two nos, horizontally for interlocking with earth filling and placing properly in a row including all labour and material directed as per Engineer-In- Charge.
