REPAIR / MAINT / REPLACEMENT OF LT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, APFC PANEL AND CONNECTED WORKS INCLUDING IMPROVEMENT TO SUB-STATION ACCESSORIES AT BARRACKPORE UNDER GE (AF) BARRACKPORE

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of under ground cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for boring for passing GI protection pipe up to 80 mm bore (dia) under road / footpath without disturbing the top surface complete all as specified and directed Note-Necessary infrastructure required for boring shall by arranged by the contractor and cost of the same included in quoted rates.

Taking down / out un-serviceable or serviceable LT UG Cables of size 185 sqmm 3.5 core and connections including bricks, GI pipes, etc. of any descriptions, laid in trenches and / or fixing with walls / poles including segregating of serviceable materials viz bricks, cables, GI pipes, etc. and keep in safe custody for re-use, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Note:- Punned down thickness shall be measured for payment.

Materials and labour for brick protection cover to underground cables with sub class ‘B’ of size 23 X 11.5 X 7.5 cm, (locally available best quality), laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for re-laying old brick in trenches for protection of under ground cable complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- Serviceable bricks obtained from item No 5.00 to 10.00 shall be reused under this items.

Supply and fix in repair steel tubing of size 80 mm dia (light grade) with all fittings, laid in trenches / road crossing / fixed on wall / pole with mild steel clamps, nuts, bolts, etc. for protection of cables complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair steel tubing of size 50 mm dia (light grade) with all fittings, laid in trenches / road crossing / fixed on wall / pole with mild steel clamps, nuts, bolts, etc. for protection of cables complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair of LT feeder pillar box complete including dismantling of burnt-out cable connections, bus-bars, MCCBs etc and preperation of external surfaces and apllying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, refixing of bus-bars, serviceable MCCBs, all cable connection from busbar to terminals at both ends and replacement of epoxy cast busbar, insulators etc. including patch repair with electric welding for replacement of hinges, refixing of broken doors, replacement of locking arrangement with sliding bolts including PCC for reconstruction of foundation/coping etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Cable connector required for replacement & required PCC for reconstruction of foundation / coping will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and fix in repair cable connector of length 0.5 m, made out of 25sqmm multi-stranded copper conductor single core PVC inner sheathed un-armoured cable including copper lugs, copper nut bolts etc.complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair cable connector of length 0.5 m, made out of 35sqmm multi-stranded copper conductor single core PVC inner sheathed un-armoured cable including copper lugs, copper nut bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair cable connector of length 0.5 m, made out of 50sqmm multi-stranded copper conductor single core PVC inner sheathed un-armoured cable including copper lugs, copper nut bolts etc.complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class `B` bricks, old size, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) including demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm grade stone aggregate) for kerbs, coping etc chamfered edges including form work including demolition of existing cement concrete (unreinforced) of any spaecififcation and removal of rubbish from the site complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repair straight through (epoxy) cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with PVC / XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor of size exc16 sqmm but not exc. 50 sqmm, 3.5 / 4 Core and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair straight through (epoxy) cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with PVC / XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor of size exc 70 sqmm but not exc. 95 sqmm, 3.5 core and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair straight through (epoxy) cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with PVC / XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor of size exc 120 sqmm but not exc. 185 Sqmm, 3.5 core and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair end termination (epoxy) cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with PVC / XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor of size exc. 185 sqmm but not exc. 300 sqmm, 3.5 core and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair end termination (epoxy) cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with PVC / XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor of size exc. 400 sqmm but not exc. 500 sqmm, 3.5 core and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply installation, commissioning and testing including providing all necessary electrical connection, LT feeder pannel board (CPRI Approved), outdoor type, double door, factory made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet of size 1.2 m x 1.00 m x 0.5 m deep having hinge opening arrangement in front and back side and bottom frame made out of angle iron of size 50x50x6mm thick and 04 nos legs 0.5 meter length with cable entry and exit circular hole with cable gland and gasket at bottom complete including painting to all internal and external exposed steel surfaces with powder coating paint (5 stage process) with duly fixed in ground with necessary PCC foundation (1:2:4) type B1, with danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled (white), with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour, fixing lugs, bolts, screws etc including necessary excavation work for taking out cable loop, foundation of panel board and refilling and comprising of the following accessories:- (a) Anodized Copper bus bar of capacity 600 Amp -04 Nos (b) MCCB 320 Amp fixed thermal and magnetic release type, 415 Volts 4 pole, 36 KA - 01 Nos ( In coming). Material and labour for disconnecting of APFC panel from all incomming / outgoing connection of any capacity, checking the serviceability of all components i.e. existing capacitors, contactors, MCB, MCCB, indicator lights, power factor controller, replacement of burnt out PVC insulated copper wire of existing size, copper thimble, MCB SPN 'C' Series (6-32Amp) 10KA, re-connect the same after throughly clean, and fixed the spare parts and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Spare parts as required shall be measured & paid separately under respective items as supply only.
