M&L for Dismantling of electrical connections , taking down existing cooling tower motor from cooling tower of the following capacity and carrying out the repairs by filling metal on the worn out portion of shaft, machining to the standard size of hub, removing the bend, checking the balancing and S&F new cooling tower hub and fan including fixing, testing and commissioning of the following capacity of AC plants, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down the defective water sprinkler assembly consisting of water distribution pipe set of 4 Nos, sprinkler unit, balancing tie rod set,etc and S&F new sprinkler unit made out of die cast aluminium, 1 No. water distribution pipe of HDPE 4 Nos including necessary dripping holes end dummy and 4 Nos tie rod with necessary clamps including testing and commissioning the sprinkler assembly for the following capacities of FRP cooling tower of induced draught type complete all as directed by Eng-in-charge.

M&L for complete over hauling, servicing of cooling tower FRP type , removal of complete scales , dirt etc . by using chemicals, cleaning the sump louvers PVC fills, fan assembly, renewal of spray nozzle with connected pipe ,renewals of nuts bolt, leak arresting of the FRP tank, replacing PVC fills and complete painting of the cooling tower all as specified and shaft bush and carrying out repair to cooling tower by taking down the choked PVC fills,segments,rusted structural supports ,bolts & nuts repair to PVC segments cold water sumps, broken nozzles, cleaning the cooling tower fan assembly, overhauling of fan motor, sprinkler system including replacement of defective parts such as nozzles, mesh sprinkler PVC common header pipes valve, bolts and nut strainer, arresting of base leakages if any removing and cleaning of fungus complete including white washing the base complete all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-charge as directed. Supply and fixing copper cable PVC insulated sheathed 1100 volts grade multi core copper conductor round 3 core 6 Sq.mm. all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs ammeter 3 phase 415V,50Hz digital type (0-200 Amps) with necessary electrical connections to suit existing panel etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing in replacement MCCB 3 pole, 250 amps, 415V, 36 KA, thermal magnetic release and connecting with new lugs as directed and required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement MCCB 3 pole, 350 amps, 415V, 36 KA, thermal magnetic release and connecting with new lugs as directed and required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-Charge.

M&L for painting up to 5 HP and cooling tower motor with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including one coat of red oxide primer, including cleaning and degreasing the surface complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 36 above but for 6 to 10 HP capacity cooling tower motor .

M&L for complete servicing of motor control centre includes replacement of burnt out lugs, busbar unserviceable contactors, cleaning of panel, checking of serviceable and operational condition panel of timer and refixing, ensure of panel door closing, checking of internal wiring including same colour existing painting complete all as manufacturer's instruction all as specified and directed by Engineer- in - charge. Note :i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to included for lugs ,busbar modification, T&P MS nuts, bolts, panel painting etc ii) Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective item as supply only and the unit rate quoted shall deemed to included the cost of labour for fixing the spares.

Removing unserviceable, corroded MS ERW pipe of 150 mm dia and S&F upto 150 mm dia MS Pipe (medium grade) with necessary fittings like Elbow, flanges, dummy flange, welding bolts, nut and valve strainers, including supports complete as in water pipe lines all as per site requirement including testing and commissioning complete all as directed.

Material & labour for taking down the damaged supply air insulation and its Weatherization or weather proofing , cement plastering etc from the height upto 10 meters with necessary scaffolding arrangement , and clearing the site as directed by the Engineering -In-Charge.

Material & Labour for carrying out thermal insulation with 50 mm High density EP Sheet, and prepare the outer surface of the supply & Return air duct and apply bituminous paint, and fixing the EP sheet with industrial quality 40/90 grade bitumen compound, and covering with tar coated hessian cloth plastic strapping around the duct, 20x20 mm wire mesh and 15 mm thick cement plastering strapping mesh around the duct and white wash, the works including the necessary scaffolding arrangement as per site conditions, all as specified as directed by Engr - in-charge.

Material & Labour for cutting and removal of damaged /corroded Supply & Return air duct of various sizes , taking down from height upto 10 meters , with necessary scaffolding arrangements as per the site condition , and supply fabrication , erection, and testing of Supply /return air duct with 22 SWG , G.I sheet including required bolts nuts, gasket packing, cross bracing with angle Iron flanges , and fixing with necessary bolt & nuts, washer all as per the standard all as specified as directed by Engineering -in-charge.

Material & labour for providing the rain water protection for "supply & return air ducts" which are laid out side the air-conditioned hangers along the side of the building wall for total length of the duct by using G.C sheet of 22 SWG , fixing with suitable " J " bolts & nuts rubber washer, on the supporting frame works with 40 x 40 x 6 mm angle Iron, necessary cutting , welding and grouting /anchor fastener as per the site conditions. Note : The work is at the height upto 10 meter from ground level. The G.C sheet fixing shall be as per the standard all as directed by the Engineering - in - charge.

Material & labour for taking down the existing corroded unserviceable portion of MS flat angle iron supports /channels of various size fitted in "supply & return air duct" and supply fabrication , erection including applying 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of anticorrosive primer , the work includes the necessary cutting welding , and grouting. Note: The work is to be carried out upto 10 meter height from the ground all as directed by Engineering - in- charge .

Material & Labour for carrying out the inner side cleaning & removing the dust from the ducts of the AC plant by blow out method, opening the grills/ service doors and cleaning by using air compressor/ vacuum cleaner, after cleaning all the open covers / grills shall be fixed in original position with necessary gas kit bolt nuts etc all as directed by Engineer- in- charge .

Material & labour for carry out the repairs of supply & return air grills / diffusers by taking down from the existing position carry out the repairs and fixing back to position all as directed by Engineering - in - charge.

Taking down the complete corroded fresh air damper of the various size at various Air Handling rooms of the AC plant, fabrication, supply and fixing of new dampers as per the existing size with G.I sheet of 20 SWG ,necessary frame works for damper opening & closing leafs with stems and bushes number painting both sides, fresh air intake control leaver with locking arrangements , aluminium painting, fixing at positions, including necessary rectification of the surface on the masonry wall , painting etc. Note : The work includes providing of bird screen on the air intake with required wire mesh , flanges, bolts & nuts all directed by Engr -in- Charge,

Materials & labour for taking down the damaged Thermal insulation of chilled water lines connecting in between the chiller plant room and AHUs of the Various AC plants , and clearing the site and disposing perished thermocol, fiber glass wools, cement plaster debris etc including transporting to GVMC damping yards all as directed by Engineering - in - Charge.

Material & Labour for preparation of Insulation removed surface of the chilled water line of the following sizes for applying the bitumen base paint , anti-corrosive paint at rusted portion of the angle iron supports & clamps / channel supports etc, the chilled water lines are passing through the open air in between the chiller plant and for the plant to AHUs, both chilled water supply & return line. Note : The work included necessary grouting /plastering of the supports in ground/walls as per the site conditions, bushes /small tree cutting /branches all as directed by Engr -in-Charge.

III)150 MM

Material & Labour for carrying out the Thermal insulation with 50 mm thick high thermocol pipe section to the chilled water line by applying industrial quality bitumen compound of 40/90 grade, sealing the joints , covering with tar coated hessian cloth , chicken mesh and 12 mm thick cement plastering and painting all the work as per the site condition, height of the lines are including and upto 5 meters of height all as directed by Engr -In-charge for the following size of chilled water line at various AC plants .

III)150 MM

Material & Labour for taking down including supply & fixing aluminium cladding to the various size of chilled pipe line with 26 SWG Al sheet , fabricating as per site requirements, such as Tee, elbow, and flange and fixing necessary sheet metal screws, making of necessary groove for over lapping joints etc , all as directed by Engr -in-charge.

Material & Labour for taking down the return air boxing between AHU room and AC space , fabrication erection of return air boxing with necessary angle iron channel and MS sheet, Thermal insulation, and weather proofing and painting with bitumen paint on outer surface of the boxing. Note : All the work are to be carried out at the height upto 12 meters from the ground , the work including necessary scaffolding and clearing the site , deposing the debris all as directed by Engineering -in-charge.

Material & Labour for taking down and replacing cooling tower motor base frame ,base plate nuts & bolt with new fittings all as per the existing size and shape all as directed by Engr -in-charge.

Material & Labour for taking down the damaged insulation, S&F new thermal insulation with self adhesive 13 mm thick supply and return air ducting all as directed by Engr -in-charge.

Notes: (i) The contractor shall generally be liable for 24 hours call back services but strictly ensure availability of his responsible representative during the entire period of the contract for attending all types of complaints. He shall promptly be attend and the call back shall not be kept pending for more than 12 hours of intimation to contractor via e-mail/electronic media. The contractor shall obtain the signature of the Eng-in-charge in token of satisfactory completion of defects. (ii) In case of delay in the rectification of any defects is more than 24 hours for minor defects and more than 48 hours for major defects,the GE may at his absolute discretion to impose on the contractor to pay to the department a penalty of Rs 5,000/- for minor defects and Rs 10,000/- for major defects towards inconvenience caused to the users. The decision of the GE as to whether a particular defect occured is minor or major will be the final and binding. The above penalty shall be in addition to the provision made in condition 50 of IAFW-2249.
