Civil Works:Construction of RCC Intake structure of 19.08 Metres of lower frame and 11.34 Mtrs .upper frame height, horizontal length of 15.70 mtrs. including construction of cantilevers of required ( 1.25 metre minimum) projection to lower the pumping machinery up to the required water level, 5.00 MT chain pully (Motorized) , rock bolting of soil for stability of structure and steel structure to hold the frame to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in charge. ( As per details given in data sheet No. 1&15). i/c design, drawing & vetting complete in all respect.
Desilting Tank:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC desilting tank including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom, walls, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet and outlet required such as MS ladders inside and outside. The cost shall be included in the rates of desilting tank complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge .The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions. ( Data sheet No. 2 &15). i/c design, drawing & vetting complete in all respect.
Pump House:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) of automated Pump Houses at following Locations including all allied Civil Works, internal & external Electrical work wiring, Sanitay work, excavation in foundation in all kinds of soils, C/o Toilets, C/o Septic Tanks of capacity for required users, internal and external solar powered Street lighting, external landscaping, dewatering including P/F 10 Tonne Gantry alongwith MS rail along longitudinal wall of approved ISI make electrically operated alongwith all allied accessories and painting with asian apex ultima with priming coat and wall putty and fire fighting system complete as directed by engineer in charge. The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing with design and one soft copy to the department. (Vol-II, Data sheet No. 3& 15 ). i/c design, drawing & vetting complete in all respect.

Collection tank, Main delivery tank and Sector storage tanks:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft walls and beams. and RCC (1:2:4) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all allied Civil Works such as C/o. chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, MS Manhole covers of 2 mm thick MS sheet of size 680 x 680 mm with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge .The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions. Pumping Machinery and Electrical works:Providing/Installation, erection, testing and commissioning of star rated energy efficient submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ Johnston/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar / Mather & Platt make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys as per IS : 14220 latest suitable for handling raw water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900 RPM of reputed make confirming to BIS 9238-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge etc. It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. The HP are indicative. Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly. PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL :- Providing/Installation, erection, Testing & Commissioning of star rated energy efficient horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement)single/double/multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make such as Mather and platt/KSB/Kirloskar/Jyoti /Beaconweir BS&BE confirming to BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with bronze/Bronze with 2.5% Nickel impellers, priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/ steel, shaft of SS: 410/AIS 1431 Chrome in plated with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a MS base plate to squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor of standard make such as Kirloskar/ BHEL/ Crompton/NGEF/GEC/Siemens/ Jyoti/Area Brown Boven and suitable for operation on 440 V LT, 50 cycles /second 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor/motors should be as per IS: 325-1978 with upto date amendments read with IS:900-1972. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current.

Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked MSERW pipes of various grade conforming to IS/ISO-3183-2007 L290 or X42 or its equivalent specifications latest with upto date amendments of following dia with upto date amendments having wall thickness and per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtr. The pipes ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding excluding the cost of jointing with butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable ends with upto date amendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make and all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends and other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement including carriage in all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The pipe shall haves zinc coating inside & out side conforming to IS/ISO-4736-1986 or latest with upto date amendments & shall be engraved with code IS/ISO-3183-2007 or its equivalent. Providing & laying in trenches HDPE pipes of following diameters & classes as per IS 4984, PE-80 and jointing the pipes through push type comression joints by hydraulically operated machines upto110mm diameter and butt fussion (heat fusion process) above 110 mm diameter i/c necessary fittings, bends, tees & reducers fabricated in accorandancewith IS 8360 & IS 8008 with latest ammendments & shall be provided as per site conditions , Flanging of the pipes shall be made as & where required confirming to code IS 8008 & IS 7634, stub ends will be welded on pipes & MS flange shall be provided with slip on covered by epoxy coating/ plastic powder. The flange should be confirm to ANSI B 16.5 with necessary nuts & Bolts. Jointing shall be complete in all respects i/c testing at site upto entrie satisfaction of engineer-in charge.

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OF SCHEME for 2-years Operation and maintenance of scheme from source to tail end of scheme and to keep all structure/ machinery/ facility in proper working. O&M includes the regular i.e, daily supplying of designed/ required quantity of water to the beneficiaries of the scheme up to main delivery tanks (Zone I&II) from the above mentioned source to t, main delivery tanks at different locations as per plan and repair and maintenance of main lines, gravity lines and entire distribution system . Regular maintenance of all the facilities including cleaning, washing, oil and greasing repair, replacement of worn out/ damaged parts of pumping machinary, pipe line, valves and electrical, mechanical, requirements, regular cleaning of all structure like delivery tanks, outlets, intake structure, desilting tank, collection tank, distribution channels/ pump house etc. and disposal of same as per the direction of engineer-in-charge, fixing/repairing/leakage in structure channels, pipe line pumping machinary etc. proper distribution of water. Maintaining log book of running of pumping mechniery register for samples reports and consumption of chemicals. Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and repair & maintenance work and time & hours of run of pumping machinary, removed of all kind of slips, slush, up-rooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc. growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in-chrage, planting, and maintenance plant of the flowers/ trees around the pump house and civil structure etc. as per the entire satisfaction of the engineer-in-charge including the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled and un-skilled manpower, spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants i/c mechanical & head load carriage etc and making stand by arrangement all times, instruments, equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost og energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual of the water supply and treatment (latest addition) HP PWD/ JSVspecification, HP & JSV department norms direction issued by the Engineer-incharge from time to time and sound engineering practice. (Refer Vol-II-Technical specifications & Vol-III, Data Sheet No, 16) The O&M part will commence from date of completion of successful trial & test run 3 month period after physical completion of all components.
