Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for taking out / laying of under ground cable in trenches or cable ducts, foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 1 above but exceeding 1.5 m depth and not exceeding 3.0 m complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil after repairing / jointing and laying and testing of cables complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposited at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above from the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L natural river sand as cushioning of cables including spreading and punning down all as per clause No 19.75 of SSR part -I all as specified. Note : punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay brick of conventional size 230x110x75mm locallly available as protection of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Labour charges for re-laying of serviceable bricks of any size and type recovered during taking out of old cable , over newly laid or re-laid cables all complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting existing road / PCC drain for taking out / laying of underground cable and including necessary earth work and making good to match with the existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade galvanised for cable protection and sealing both ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable steel tubular/RCC poles 9 mtr long and supply and erection of steel tublar swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.0 mtr long) and shifting of conductors and insulators etc incl painting the exposed portion of the pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and internally through out plus embedded portion with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer. Marking of pole number with black paint in yellow circle complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Painting of steel tubular pole 9.0 mtr long, by applying one coat of alluminium paint after scraping / brushing and cleaning the rust on pole and cross arms . Alluminium painting will be done on pole above 1.5 Mtr hight from ground level and balance 1.5 mtr from ground level will be painted by alternate layer of black and white enammelled paint ( 30 cms each) Pole Nos will be written on pole by black paint in yellow circle of 150mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
