Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m , putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, binded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well ramming (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings).depth of potholes exc 30 mm using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparation of new/ old surface and applying reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (white or golden yellow) of minimum 2.5 mm thick (confirming to BIS-3262) by using thermo plastic material @6.5 KG/Sqm, and glass beads @250 gms/Sqm . Single coat as in centre line and edge line road marking, using HOT Mark by indigenous modern propelled road making machine as directed including cleining of old surfaces. Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30, rolled and compacted to requireds camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonn power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt or with mechanical air compressor etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm (using paving bitumen VG 10 grade) of road surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) of any penetration as binder content of 4% by weight of total mix, laid by machnical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with 8-12 tonn power road roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Cat eyes of aluminium alloy body solid of size 110mmx120mmx23.5mm for road complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dark Eye/Dark-3M/Greenlight Pvt Ltd.

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil.

Removing excavated material exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km and directed and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point

Rolling and consolidating of formation surfaces in cutting using with 8 tonn to 12 tonn power road roller, watering as necessary including filling in hallows and depressions to required true gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for 200mm thick (spread thickness) Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, spread and leveled interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with 8 tonn to 12 tonn power road roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers of 75mm thick each, with coarse stone aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), of granite, trap or basalt, spread, watered and rolled with 8 tonn to 12 tonn power road roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for Preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and Applying evenly a priming/tack coat using paving bituminous (VG-10) primer at the rate of 10 kg per 10 sq metre Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30, by using self propelled machnical paver rolled and compacted to requireds camber and gradient 8 to 10 tonn power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads pavements and the like n exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note:- For item No 3.00 & 13.00, If qty of binder content in job mix formula works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its qty work out to be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% given herein above shall be provided.
