Design, manufacture and supply of Electronic Interlocking (EI) system complete 1 suitable with 25 KV RE Area with architecture of EI i.e.Distributed or Centralized as per the requirement of Zonal Railway and as per RDSO specification No.RDSO/SPN/ 192/2019 Ver. 2 or latest or as per approval of PCSTE for specification to be adopted and from RDSO approved source only along with the special conditions of contract mainly consisting of Microprocessor Equipment, Interface Equipment, EI vendor specific Interfacing Relays , In-built event Logger, In-built Power Supply equipment, Racks, Indoor cables, Wires, Fuses, Fixtures, Mounting arrangements along with all accessories required to make complete EI system functional. Design of indoor EI system should be compatible as per outdoor interlocking requirement based on Signal Interlocking Plan & Selection Table of station/RCC of Station/yard and will be done by OEM after following all the guidelines/directives issued by RDSO from time to time as per RE requirements. Hot standby with Dual VDU [two nos. of industrial grade high resolution VDUs (Note: Size of VDU to be provided shall be based on the no. of routes, (i) For less than 100 Routes-55" LED based VDU with 4K resolution suitable for 24x7 application, Maintenance Terminals (Size of VDU should be same as for operator VDU along with laser printer at central & goomties locations. Housing for EI equipment and Relay Racks, Fixture, mounting arrangements and accessories necessary to make the EI system functional shall be done as per tentative SIP enclosed for station. This provision of hot-standby arrangement must have the supply, installation and commissioning of associated cards for the above arrangement such as communication card, synchronization card and others cards as required with supply & installation of supporting software and drives etc, also Optical Fiber link with loop back (Protection ring) between center to goomties. Embedded industrial grade fan less PCs should be of rugged and reliable type like MOXA series V 2406, Kontron MPCX28R, MEN BC50M or latest with compact flash drives in non-AC and in normal environment to be used. Minimum requirement of Embedded PC for EI shall be as per RDSO Specification. The optical fiber connectivity with fiber management and diagnostic analysis system shall be provided to connect EI with SM room PC terminal. Supply of essential spares to the extent of 10% of the quantities installed (subject to minimum 1 number). This item also includes supply of following :- (a) Supply of documents/manuals for EI system as per RDSO Specn.No. RDSO/ SPN/ 192/2019 Ver.2 or latest. (b) Supply & provision of protective devices like surge and lightning protection devices compatible to RE standards as recommended by OEM / RDSO. (c)Design, preparation & supply of drawings in computer print copies and original tracing in AUTO CAD FORMAT for Electronic Interlocking as per ANNEXURE -010100 of TS. (d)Instruments and Tool Kits for Trouble Shooting and repair of hardware and software for EI system should be supplied for stations as recommended by OEM. (e) Supply Installation testing and commissioning of Data Logger as Per Yard Requirement. Note: - i. Before submission to railway, selection table/RCC must be authenticated by OEM. ii. Latest RDSO Guidelines/TAN issued must be followed. Note: Calculation of Functional Bit is to be done as per existing NFR Practise. (Number means Per Functional Bit)
Installation, wiring, testing (FAT & SAT/Second FAT as applicable) and commissioning of EI System with 'Hot Standby' architecture as supplied above item-010101. It includes transportation of material from consignee's depot to the site, erection and grouting of EI Relay Racks, fixing and wiring of all the interfacing relays (Vital & Non Vital), installation and wiring of Microprocessor equipment, interface equipment, power supply equipment and all other associated accessories to make complete EI system to be functional as per RE requirement. This also includes the redesigning, Rewiring and testing Including FAT & SAT during alteration of EI before commissioning. Note: (i) Technical Requirements are attached with tender document (ii) Contractor 2 has to arrange simulator/simulation testing panel for testing and commissioning by Selection Table/RCC and Square Sheet for each Signalling function. (iii) Installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of EI system will be done by OEM after following all the guidelines/directives issued by RDSO from time to time. NOTE: 1.Relay Test Jigs to be provided in RELAY Room/Equipment Room for 24 V (DC), & 110 V (AC) separately. 2. All 24 Fibres to be spliced for VDU and sufficient number of spare patch cords to be made available. 3. Ladders having minimum width 200mm and iron angle of size 25mmX25mm with Grey Sigma Coating to be supplied by contractor. 4.Close slotted duct of Blue colour or any other as instructed along with other accessories (end cap, T-bend etc.) to draw flexible cables, wires, power cable etc to be supplied by contractor. NOTE: In case of Phased Commissioning of a Station, this item will be paid extra for each Phase. This also includes the redesigning, Rewiring and testing Including FAT & SAT for alteration of EI for each extra phase."
Supply of PC based Portable Work Station for Data input and configuration, simulation and functional testing, diagnostics and trouble-shooting. It also includes supply of printer 3 as per TS. The TS must include Min 13th Generation Intel Core™ i9 processor with 16 GB RAM /DDR4 min, 512 GB SSD, 23.8 inch Full HD Display along with 1 KVA UPS with wireless Keyboard and Mouse. Suitable Make- DELL/HP/Lenovo or Similar with Genuine Windows 11 software with MS Office licence version.
Supply and installation of ISI marked anti Electrostatic mat of standard size having 2 mm in thickness Blue colour or any other colour as per instruction of Engineer In charge. Proportionate payment will be made if Thickness of mat varies as per the instruction of Engineer In Charge.
Design of circuits and plans to suit layout given in the signalling plan of IBS/ABS/LC GATE. All plans and wiring diagram shall be prepared on Auto Cad Drawing and supplied with CD. This will include supply of Control cum Indication panel diagram, Route section plan, square sheet, wiring diagrams, Relay rack/Relay arrangements, Bus bar details, Fuse analysis, contact analysis, Relay room tag block analysis, panel tag block analysis, Power panel diagram, IPS wiring diagram, Auto change over diagram, Power equipment arrangement with program switch, Block circuit wiring diagram, Digital Axle counter wiring diagram and all other relevant drawings. NOTE: The contractor 6 shall initially supply 2 sets of documents (Paper Prints) for approval of Railways. Railway will return one set to the contactor duly approved with alterations/corrections, if any. The contractor shall incorporate Railways' alterations/ corrections/ comments, if any, in the tracing & CD without any deviation and submit all the tracings and Final CD complete with all respect for Approval of Railways. After Approval of Railways on the tracings, the contractor shall submit 3 sets of final approved diagrams to the Railways within 15 days. He shall ensure that each sheet has a block for signature of railway official as well as a block for signature of firm, duly signed by the authorized signatory of the firm. The name of the work as given by Railways shall be written on every sheet under the work column. All the drawing shall be supplied in a good quality folder for each IBS/ABS/LC Gate.
Q-Series Line Relay (QNA1 Type), AC immunized, 8F/8B, 24 V DC along with plug 7 board (base plate), connectors, retaining clips etc. and conforming to BRS-931A and RDSO Specn.No.IRS:S@45"44@ S-23 and S-60 or latest. The interlocking code for this unit shall be "ABDGH".
Q-Series Track Relay (QTA2 Type), AC immunized, 9 Ohms, 2F/1B along with plug 8 board (base plate), connectors, retaining clips etc. and conforming to BRS:939A & 966 (Appendix F2) and RDSO Spec No. IRS:S@45"44@ S-23 with amdt. upto date as applicable or latest with latest amdt. or latest. The interlocking code for this unit shall be "FGHKX".
Track Relay QBAT, AC immunized, 2F-2B contacts, 9 ohms. Complete with plug board, retaining clip & connectors as per RDSO/SPN/84 Ver 2.0 Amdt. 1 or latest. The interlocking code for this unit shall be "ABEJX".
Key Lock Relays (KLCR), 24 V DC, 2F/2B as per RDSO No. IRS:S-46, S-34 &S-23 or 10 latest along with 1 Key & 3 ward plates (Shape A to Z, each shape 1 KLCR). Details of ward plates KLCR of all wards manufactured by firm except I and X preferably in equal number are required. Firm shall supply 2 nos. of ward plates extra with each relay in the metallic enclosure as per RDSO specification No. RDSO/SPN/219/2016 (Ver.1.0) Amdt. 1 or latest
Supply of PVC insulated multi strand, single core copper conductor of size 16/0.2 mm 11 (0.5 sq mm) as per IS 694:2010 and RDSO Specn No. IRS: S-76/89 (Amnd-3) or latest. One Coil should be of 100 meters length. PVC coated in different colours as per technical specifications. Colour of the wire which is required will be specified by the Engineer in charge.
Supply of 1 x 6 Sq.mm. (Red/Black/Green) multi strand copper power wire as per IS: 12 694:2010 or latest, 84 conductor each dia 0.30mm +/- 0.01 with insulation thickness of 0.8 mm and nominal conductor resistance of 3.3 ohms/km and test parameters as per RDSO Specn.No.IRS:S76/89(Amnd.3) or latest. Colour of the wire which is required will be specified by the Engineer in-charge.

Colour of the wire which is required will be specified by the Engineer in charge.

Taking the all types of cables inside station relay rooms, ASM's room, location huts, location boxes and junction boxes etc. and sealing of cable entry pit as per technical specifications complete with contractors' material. Per
Inter connection wiring with ladder arrangement from control panel/CLS Panel to IPS to relay rack, battery & CTR. This includes interconnection, wiring with ladder arrangement between 26 relay racks, CTRS, control cum indication panel/VDU and relay rack tag blocks for data logger. This also includes termination of cables / wires on all the above and dressing, bunching etc. As required at site cable to be used between IPS & it's battery duly soldered with good quality lugs in duplicate as per RDSO Standard Specification. From relay rack to panel wire should be of 40/60 core multicore cable of 1 sq.mm., 0.5mm dia., 16/0.2 mm for relays, 3/0.75 mm for MCBS and 10 /16 /25 sq.mm as per RDSO guidelines for power wiring. Indoor cable will be 60 x 1 mm /40 x 1 mm as per IRS-S- 76/89, amd-2 or latest for interconnection. Supply of wires / cables by the contractor, shall be procured from RDSO's approved firm only & to be duly inspected. Note:1) necessary 40/60 multicore, 16/0.2 mm, 3.0.75 mm, 10 sq.mm cables required for wiring to be supplied by the contractor. 2) to suite load requirement necessary re-arrangement of DC-DC converters by OEM of IPS.
Charging of lead acid cell (Secondary cell) of various capacities as per 29 Manufacturer's/Railway engineer's instruction. Acid and distilled water to be supplied by the contractor. Specific gravity acid should be approved type duly inspected by consignee. This includes installation and commissioning of battery in circuit. Battery to be kept on wooden rack.
Supply of active lightning arrestor of class A for building protection as per standard NFC 17-102. As per NBC 2016, radioactive terminals, such as dissipation systems, ESE, or CSE air terminals are not permitted. It shall be made of stainless steel with a T of 60 micro second. The 30 dimension of the device shall be 590 mm x 120 mm or more. The provision shall be there to test this device if necessary by an external tester. Latest guidelines issued by the RDSO/Railway Board shall be followed for Class A protection as per latest RDSO STS/E/TAN/3006 ver 3.1 or latest. A non- resettable type counter shall also be supplied to count number of lightening occurrences along with required copper tape for connecting the device with earth pit.
Installation of class A device on the top of the building: the device shall be installed at a height of about of about 3 mtrs. From the roof of the building using a GI mast. The device shall be 31 connected to earth pit using the copper tape of 25 mm x 2 mm or better. This copper tape shall be run firmly along the side of the mast with help of spacers. It shall also be ensured that this down conductor shall not touch the building throughout. The down conductor should be connected to earth electrode using exothermic welding or better. A counter shall be installed at a appropriate place to count number of occurrences.

NOTE: Proportionate payment against the work executed by the contractor will be arranged where digging of trench upto 1.2 mtr depth is not possible due to water seepage inside the trench, this has to be confirmed by the railway representative present at site and should be recorded in the field book
Digging of 1.0 Meter deep and 0.3 Meter wide trenches In hard soils including hard rock and Soil mixed with ballast/Stone/Bricks, including clearing of roots of trees and bushes and temporary obstruction on the selected route back filling and ramming of the soil in trenches to 98 original level., as per technical specifications and cable route plan. Note: In case where digging of trench up to 1.0 Meter depth and 0.3 meter wide is not possible or bigger size trench is required to lay more cables or loose soil/ muck is encountered, the depth can be reduced / increased as per directions of the Engineer-in-charge of the works, the payment will be decreased/increased proportionate to the depth & width of excavation compared to 1.0 Meter deep and 0.3 Meter wide.
