M&L preparing surface of blacktop surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L applying evenly a prime/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 7.5 Kg Per 10 Sqm over prepared earthen surface or porous aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L applying evenly a prime/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg Per 10 Sqm over the priming surface /existing blacktop surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for built up spray grout as per MORTH specification using crushed coarse stone aggregates and bituminious binder of grade VG-30 as specified for thickness n exc 75 mm for each course laying to the lines grade and cross sections as required and directed and rolled with mechanical power roller of 8-10 tonne capacity of required compaction for each layer. The works consisits of application of two layer coarse aggregate as specified shall be laid @ 0.5 cum per 10 sqm and rolled as specified and applied with straight of bitumen of VG-30 grade at 15 Kg / 10 sqm using mechanical sprayers at specified temperture. The second layer of coarse aggregate shall be applied same specification for the first layer .immediately after application of second layer aggregate as specified binder for 2nd layer shall be applied @ 15kg/10Sqm immediately followed by key aggregate @ 0.13 cum/ 10 sqm spread, uniformly by approved manual means to cover the surface completely.The entire surface is then rolled with a 8-10 tonne mechanical roller and compacted thoroughly to have a uniform ,even and smoooth surface complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per ser item No.04 but except aggregate complete all as specified and as directed by eng-in-charge.

M&L laying premixed bituminous carpet 3 cm consolidated thickness by drag spreader ,0.405 cum of stone aggregate (all in stone aggregate) mixed with 21.9 kg of paving butumin VG-30 per 10 sqm, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Liquid seal coat by applying evenly binder at 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm binding with 6.3mm size stone chipping @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm paving bitumen VG-30, applied and rolled to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of black bituminous surfaces of road as required/directed and applying thermoplastic road marking paint with an applicator machine, the material shall be laid uniformly, heated mixer with a starting mechanism at a temperature of 160 degree centigrade. The thickness of paint shall not less than 2mm and not more than 2.5mm, the width pattern all as directed at site , glass bead shall be applied uniformly as directed. The paint shall be BS 3262 Part I&II of 1989 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for two way raised pavement marker 100 x 100 mm size with ABS boarding conforming ISD 67 1977, having high impact strength and fitted with 02 nos highly reflective reflectors on both side of cat eye including fixing with epoxy resin complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bituminious primer @ 5 kg per 10 sqm putting in premix as specified for thin bituminious carpet (3 cm thick) well rammed and seal with premixed liquid seal coat evenly binder at 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm binding with 6.3mm size stone chipping @ 0.09 cum per 10 sqm paving bitumen, applied and rolled to uniform smooth surface when the area surface potholes aggregate to less than 40 sqm and more than 20 sqm within a radius of half km complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate include supply of road metals

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc. 50 mm and n exc. 100mm deep and area exc 400 sqm including cleaning for reuse complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface excavation not exc 3cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material a distance n. exc 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
