Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations, manholes, etc. or for laying cables/pipes, erecting poles, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm deep as in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point in any type of soil including spreading in low lying area and leveling complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling of existing unserviceable and rusted MS clamps, angle, MS flat iron, nuts, bolts and washers, etc. from any location / position, etc. and disposing off complete all as specified and as directed

Taking up or down steel water tubing and connections from any location / position, sorting, stacking serviceable tubings for reuse, and disposing off unserviceable tubing, etc. complete all as specified and as directed for the following bores of pipes:

Relaying and refixing only steel water tubing, medium grade, galvanised with screwed and socketed joints, including supply and fixing all fittings, ISI marked conforming to IS-1239 and fixed to walls or laid in trenches required for water connections complete all as specified and as directed for the following bores: Notes: (a) Serviceable tubings obtained from dismantling herein before will be reused under this item (b) Tubings shall be thoroughly cleaned off from dirt, mud, silt, rust, etc., duly de-scaled and threaded before reuse

Supplying, fixing / laying steel water tubing, medium grade, galvanised with screwed and socketed joints, in any length, including supply and fixing all fittings viz. bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, connectors, backnuts, diminishing pieces, caps, plugs, unions, flange, etc. ISI marked conforming to IS -1239 and fixed to walls or laid in floors / trenches for water connections including all necessary welding, etc. as required at site complete all as specified and as directed for the following bores:

M&L for DI pipes, 150mm bore, with socketed and spigot ends suitable for tyton joints centrifugally cast (spun) class K-9 conforming to IS:8329 cut to any length laid in trenches including rubber gaskets joints complete all as specified and as directed Note: Fittings shall be measured and paid separately under respective item

M&L for ductile iron specials / fittings like bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.), tee pieces single branch 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, caps, plug, etc. upto and including 150mm bore complete all as specified and as as directed Note: Lead joint, excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under respective items

S&F gun metal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, heavy duty, including necessary cutting into existing pipe, threading, inserting new piece of GI pipe of existing size, and earthwork in any type of soil or breaking/cutting into road/interlocking tiles/cement concrete, etc. and making good the disturbed surfaces including taking out and disposing off old unserviceable valves complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes:

Supplying, fixing and testing on installation sluice valve, cast iron body class PN 1.6, conforming to IS-14846, ISI marked, both ends flanged with brass spindle and brass check nuts with cast iron hand wheel including jointing material like rubber insulation sheet 3mm thick, bolts, nuts and fixed to pipe line including taking out and disposing off old unserviceable valves complete all as specified and as directed of the following sizes:

S&F mild steel bands, straps, hold fasts, clamps, angles, flat iron, wall ties, nuts, bolts, washers and similar articles conforming to Fe-290 grade E-165 including all necessary welding as required complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for drilling and tapping CI/GI water mains (in position) for branch connections of the internal dia 20/25mm complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for attending breakdowns in water supply pipelines CI/DI at any locations / positions including excavation & earthwork in any type of soil as required, all nececssary T&P for lifting, placing of pipes, etc. burning out lead, taking out spun yarn and making joints with new spun yarn and lead on rectifying of breakdown complete all as specified and as directed for the following bores of pipes: Notes: (i) The Contractor or his rep /supervisor shall collect complaints from the Engineer-in-charge. Requisite registers, duly signed by all concerned shall be mantained for the purpose. The same shall be submitted along claims of payments against the item (ii) Complaint shall be attended to render supply system fully functional against complaint informed. Each complaint when sucessfully attended will only be considered for payment purposes (iii) All necessary labour, T&P, other equipments as required against nature of breakdown required at site, etc. shall be provided by the Contractor (iv) Contracor shall mobilize his resources to attend breakdown and get the same rectified within 24hrs from the time of communication by any means. In the event of any failure a penalty @Rs. 500/hour shall be levied from subsequent due payments of the Contractor (v) All above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates

S&F joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) as in compound girders, stanchions, lattice girders, aerial masts, staging for water tanks, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

S&F 5mm thick plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinay and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment of Fe 410W grade-E -250 including all necessary cutting, welding, riverting, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (type C-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for brickwork with sub-class 'B' bricks (old size bricks), straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed

M&L rendering 15mm thick, in cement mortar (1:4) on walls / concrete surfaces, etc. finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed
