M&L for Carryout periodical routine maintenance consisting of Checking, Inspection, Maintenance and servicing complete including replacement of unserviceable parts of the DG set comprising of (Engine/Alternator/Control Panel), Attending breakdown and testing of DG Set complete, i.e, engine, Alternator, etc for efficient functioning including provision of all consumables items like cotton, waste cloth, kerosine oil etc. Maintenance will be carried out of capacity 40 KVA to 62.5 KVA DG Set, complete all as specefied and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note: (i) S&F of Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items as shown below. (II) Labour charges for dismantling / Taking down are deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Rates are included for 12 Month (4 visit Quarterly basis in normal condition) and AMC through authorised Dealer /OEM.

QUARTERLY INSPECTION AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE Contractor shall provide qualified trained service engineer from Authorised Company as refered item No 1 above to visit at site with material and labour, testing equipment to check / inspection and routine maintenance of the following: - (a) DG set servicing (B-check, C-check) (b) DG set Maintenance/Health checkup. (c) Control Panel/AMF Panel/Alternator troubleshooting only. (d) Replacement of AVR, water pump, starter motor, charging alternator, Fuel, coolant & lube oil hose, solenoid as per requirement. (e) Check lube oil level and conditioning of lube oil, top up/refill if required. (f) The oil filters shall be replaced whenever oil is changed. (g) The air filters shall be cleaned periodically with compressed air, check batteries and top up the distilled water if required. (h) Check functioning of alternator. (I) Engine safety viz. high water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, oil temperature gauge and high speed gauge shall be checked for their functions and repaired/ replaced if required. (J) Coolant level and conditioning of coolant shall be checked and refilled if required.

(k) Check fan and alternator drive belts and tightened if required. (l) The governor shall be checked and tuned for proper functioning (m) Check for leaks if any and shall be rectified. (n) Checking and servicing of engine for smooth running, its unusual sound and color of smoke and exhaust and set it right in case of deviations (o) Checking of wiring system and repairing/replacement as and when required (p) Checking of battery terminal an de-sulphating (q) Diagnosis of faults in engine and Alternator and its rectification SPECIAL INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE: During operation if machine become unserviceable for that contractor shall provide qualified trained authorised service Engineer and technicians from kirlosker to visit at site with material & labor, testing equipment to check and attend complaints as and when called and rectify the fault within 24 hours of the DG set by following all the recommendations and instruction given in the mannual and service instruction. Note:- (i) Repair work shall be carried out through specilised firm/agency which is familiar in such work which is familiar in such work. (ii) Unserviceable parts shall be replaced with new parts (spare parts shall be measured and paid under respective items as shown below).

Materials and Labour for maintenance free chemical earthing system using 04 (four) spike 17.2mm dia, 3000mm long high tensile low carbon steel circular rod, molecularly bonded with copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness of 250 microns) meeting the requirements of Under Writers laboratories (UL) 467-2007 or latest with 250mm long copper strips of size 50X3 mm, exothermally welded on top of electrode complete including augering (boring) 100-125mm dia hole as required for electrode in any type of soil and back filling with Earth Enhancing Chemical back filled compound as per IEEE 80 2000 Clause 14.5(c), conforming to IEC 62561-7, min quantity of compound used 40Kg), i.e. total qty 160 Kg per electrode, conforming to IEEE/BS standrads including pit cover light weight made out of high quality polymer with lid made of HDG steel, including nessary testings and commissioning, complete all as specified and as directed. Chemical analysis of water collected of one bottle of treated water (filtered water) and one bottle of untreated water (ground water) collected from different pump houses of GE (AF) Tezpur are forwarded herewith as sample for iron contents with standards of quality for drinking water at Defence Research Laboratory (DRL) Tezpur (Assam) and putup the certificates seperately for each sample to Engineer-in-Charge twice in a contract period complete all as specified and as directed.
