Contract Details

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation of pole or cable trenches etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing surplus excavated material (SOIL) to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down GI water tubing and connections of pipe and fittings including material and labour for GI water tubing,medium grade,galvanized laid in trenches all required fittings of the following bore of sizes complete.

(a) GI pipe of 80 mm bore

(b) GI pipe of 50 mm bore

(c ) GI pipe of 25 mm bore

(d) GI pipe of 20 mm bore

Taking out existing damaged / unserviceable Gate valves of following sizes and Supply and fixing Gun Metal Gate Valve with iron wheel head, both ends screwed for iron pipes all as specified and directed of the following bore of sizes (Make : Zolato/Lakshmi/PRATAP

(a) Gate valve 40 mm bore

(b) Gate valve 25 mm bore

(c) Gate valve 20 mm bore

Taking out existing unserviceable/broken/damaged CI sluice valve from its existing position and Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of sluice valve of cast iron body, class-I, both ends flanged & drilled conforming to IS-14846 (2000), PN – 1.60 with stainless steel spindle including all accessories such as nut-bolts, washers & fibre / rubber gasket as required at site with and including taking out old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed.

Scrapping out old paint from motor pump of 15/20 HP capacity, coupling guard, mild steel common base frame and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality and colours as follows complete all as specified and directed: - (a) Motor pump - Grey colour. (b) Coupling guard and motor air grill - Red colour. (c) Common base frame - Black colour. (d) Suction line & delivery line - Blue colour (inside pump house) (e) Writing SM/MES No. - 25 mm high fonts in white colour on motor & pump.

M&L for taking out existing unserviceable/damaged CI non return valve from its existing position and supply and fixing Non return valve cast iron flanged and conforming to latest IS ,with gasket, bolts and nuts full threaded including joints complete for following sizes all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(Make: Hazra / Upadhyaya/ Bir)

M & L for Taking out existing unserviceable sluice valve parts from its existing position for re facing , regrinding and re fixing in position with gasket, bolts and nuts full threaded including joints complete for following sizes all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

(a) 80 mm bore

(b) 50 mm bore

Supply and fixing single phase preventer suitable for 15/20 HP motors, AC 415 Volts,50 Hz complete with all electrical connections as specified and as directed Model-VSP2 Make- MINILEC or Equivalent

Scrapping out old rusted / painted surfaces from 80 mm / 50 mm bore cast iron or GI delivery / rising main / overflow / wash out pipe(s) of any water reservoir, and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) over a coat of red oxide primer to exposed pipe surfaces including cast iron sluice valve(s) (color as directed) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Lifting of existing centrifugal Pump 9 stage, water lubricating type of capacity 15/20 HP from the pump house including disconnecting of motor, suction and discharge pipes and all accessories for repairing / overhauling of 20 HP Pump, dismantling of the motor, replacement of worn out spares, overhauling, servicing including necessary machining work viz turning, polishing and re-assembling of pump and motor on completion of repair work and re-fixing the repaired pump with pipes and all accessories including providing necessary electric connection and testing on completion all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: All spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective item as ‘Supply only’)

Rewinding of electrical motor of 15/20 HP capacity (Make :- Kirloskar) with super enameled copper winding wire of suitable gauge and turn as per existing including insulating materials, heat varnishing and replacement of worn out spares and re fixing in position with pump sets and testing complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge .Note: All spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective item as ‘Supply only’.

M&L for repairs to couplings (flanged or spider) to make the pump motor sets trouble free smooth running including replacement of nuts and bolts and rubber pieces etc complete all as directed

Machining work required for repair to submirsible pump set by straightning polishing of pump shaft. Making screw and key way, including replacement of wornout parts re-assembling pump after repair for smooth functioning of pump. Note:- Fixing payment shall be deemed to be including in quoted rates.

Material and labour for running Welding in repair for ERW pipe of any dia (thickness of metal to be welded exc 6mm but n.ex 9mm)

M & L Joint with rubber or fibre board gasket for50/65/ 80mm dia GI pipe complete all as specified and directed

M & L flange joint with gasket , nut, bolt and washers arrangements suitable for 80mm dia GI pipe complete all as specified and directed

Attending of day to day complaints of external water supply of all nature i.e. leakage in water pipe lines ,fittings /fixture , no water supply including all type of complaint noted in complaint register all complaints slips received from the complaint cell and deposit the complaint slip after reactification and obtained signature of users with necessary T & P with experianced trade man with GI fittings i.e. elbow,tee,reducer,union,long screw socket ,nipple ,plug etc complete all as directed . Note : The complaint shall be attended and defect shall be rectified with in 48 hrs commencing from the date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 200 per complaint per day shall be recovered from BIll.

Taking down old steel tubing pipe and Re-fixing old steel tubing and connection in new or old position in trenches/wall/ ceiling/ floors etc with using all new fittings i.e socket,union or connectors etc to serve the purpose of leakage /seepage in the existing pipe line of sizes 20 mm bore complete including making good the disturbed portion as per existing pattern (PCC, road, path etc) as directed all as directed .

M&L Routine and periodical cleaning around the area of pump house no. 2, 3,4 Tech area LKT site, MES complex surrounding area pump hose, adm site etc by cutting and removal/uprouting of unwanted grass/bushes, small trees including surface dressing and leveling by surface excavation wherever required complete in all respect or as directed.

M&L Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in for filling road cutting pathway cutting etc above ground level finished to required shape including necessary form work complete all as specified

Supply and fixing of coupling of same size as existing size ( e.g L13 No.)male female side for shaft of Centrifugal pump and electrci motor side combination set including turning of bore at both side as make size of shaft of motor and centrifugal pump side of ISI marked as specified and directed at site.

Note :-Tenderers may be noted that amount of credit will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
