"CAUTION ELECTRIC CABLE BELOW" at 0.75 m depth from
ground surface after laying cable in trench. This will provide
indication that electric cable is passing underground so as to
protect cable from mechnical injuries, refilling the same, as per
Instruction of Engineer in Charge (EIC).
Labour charge for horizontal drilling using Auger machine without
damage to surface road at max 2.0 mtrs depth & putting of
kg/cm2 , class-4,Green color, 110mm O.D. , 8.5mm thickness
H.D.P.E. pipe confirms to IS 4984-1987(3rd revision) and BIS
certification and laying of 11KV/22KV XLPE cable of size up to
240 mm2 in HDPE pipe, as per Site Condition (excluding cost of
pipe). The detail map obtained from HDD machine and excell
sheet(hard and soft copy) indicating the respective depth and
distance from adjacent landmark for each segment for HDD is
must required to be submitted. HDD to be carried out at depth
mtrs to 2.0 mtrs as per site conditions and as per instruction of

1.DGVCL will provide key material like M.S. materials,ABC/Bare
conductors,PSC/RSJ Poles,Insulators,Fabricated materials etc. to
the contractor.
2.All fabricated items shall be fabricated as per DGVCL approved
drawing and by welding rods confirming to the relevent ISI
specification and as directed by Engineer in charge.
3.Necessary electricity connection for fabrication items shall be
provided by DGVCL on payment of required charge for

10.Earthing value & Insulation Resistance (IR) value of all
location along with Geo tagged (longitude & latitude) wise testing
and measured value photograph need to submit with Bill.
11.Depth chart should be provided at every 100 meter with
mentioning landmark.
12. Partial Discharge test to be carried out on sample part of
cable before charging as decided by in charge engineer.
13. Qualified cable jointer with Minimum five years of experience
required with necessary certification regarding qualification and
specific experience.
14. Performance Bank Guaranty required to submit 5% of tender
value for two years against cable joint failure. Moreover, cable
joint failure or end termination failure will have to repair within
Hrs for 2 years of guaranty period.
15. Fixing of mechanical protection HDPE pipe at rising should be
properly buried as per specification.
16. Fixing of Route marker strictly as per specification.
17. Minimum annual Turnover should be at least tender estimated
value and in addition to CVC guideline narrated in tender for UG
cable laying work.
18. Marking of feeder name, direction and location on cable is
compulsory during final scrutiny to declare work completion.
19. End termination and straight joint kit should be of premium
quality as specified in Annexure-2. Technical specifications for the
same to be submitted along with bid.
20. Cable straight joint should be done with mid span joint instead
of long barrel Lug.
21. Agreement with vendor of cable joint kit and End termination
kit to supply for this tender for concern bidder should be submit at
the time of bidding.
