REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF HT UG CABLE , DEHYDRATION OF TRANSFORMER OIL, VCB SERVICING, CALIBRATION OF RELAY AND RELATED WORKS AT INA EZHIMALA

M&L for repairing/maintenance/servicing of HT 11kv VCB along with CTs/PTs of capacity upto 630A of any make and type by drawing out breaker from main panel and carry out the following works complete all as specified and directed. Timing test, CRM test, insulation resistance test, calibration test, relay setting of VCB on main panels according to KSEB. Complete servicing and testing overload relay, digital voltmeter, digital ammeter, indication lamp and all the protective equipment inside the VCB and main panels to be serviced and working properly incl followings:- (a) Tripping off the breaker and racking out the breaker trolley complete from the panel for servicing/inspection/overhauling. (b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and adjusting for proper operation. (c) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of circuit spouts and circuit spout connections for RYB phases. (d) Checking of cross bar assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker complete. (e) Cleaning/decarbonizing of all fixed and moving contacts, levers, springs, etc. with soft emery paper, CRC solution and soft dry cloth to remove all carbon deposits and tightening all screws, nuts, bolts, spring etc. and incl applying superior quality petroleum jelly on all contacts. (f) Checking of safety/tripping relays and AC/DC power supply circuits for proper functioning. (g) Checking, setting and adjustment of rack in/rack out, spring charging system and operation of the breaker trolley. (h) Lubrication and greasing of breaker operating mechanism, all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear etc. (j) Checking of all end terminals, tightening of all earth connections, tightening all hardware, rack-in the breaker, put in position, engage the VCB with the supply system and testing for smooth functioning. Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, indication lamp etc. and Timing test, CRM test, insulation resistance test, calibration test, relay setting of VCBs, commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Servicing/maintenance of VCBs shall be carried out by authorised service centre/agency/representative of any KSEB approved by GE. (iii) The test reports shall be submitted by the contractor.
