CLEANING OF BLOCKED SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLES, SEPTIC TANKS AND REPAIRS TO SEWAGE PIPES AND FITTINGS OF CERTAIN UNITS AGE B/R II AREA UNDER GE AF TRIVANDRUM

M&L Surface dressing not exc 15 cm deep in soft & loose soil with grass around the manhole, soak well, drains and septic tank all as specified and directed

M&L Cleaning of Gully trap/Nahani trap with cleaning tools and getting out sludge, mud, silt or other foreign materials complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note :- Obtained waste materials shall be disposed off to a distance not less than 100 mtrs as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for making good damaged surfaces of surroundings of nahani trap, Gully trap/floor traps etc with CM (1:3) or white cement complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L Cleaning of septic tank/ soak pits by removing manhole cover including removing of earth/soil spread over the cover if any, from the frame of a septic tank and receiving chambers, pumping out liquid contents and excavating night soil sediments and waste materials etc, clearing off up to the bottom floor and dispose off the materials to a distance not exceeding 100 mtrs from the septic tank to a pit suitably excavated to contain night soil, as directed by Eng-in-Charge place back the man hole cover to its original position and removing all vegetable roots if any and making good surroundings complete all as specified and directed, including the cost of excavating the pit and refilling back. Note:-The measurement shall be inclusive of water content from bottom of tank to the invert level of outlet pipe.

M&L Opening manholes of septic tanks, removing night soil, other sediments, solid waste and liquid waste in any condition by septic tank cleaning vehicle, cleaning internal surfaces of the tank with clean water and refixing the manhole cover on completion of work complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) The night soil, sediments, solid and liquid waste in any condition removed from septic tank shall be taken away from respective vicinities and premises in closed containers/conveyance and disposed off out of Defence land. (b) Disposal of the same shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Disposal of waste shall be made in accordance with the regulations of authorities concerned without any extra expenditure to the Government.

M&L Cleaning Manholes of depth n.exc 1.50m by removing man hole cover, dewatering and getting out sludge, deposited mud, silt or other foreign materials and vegetation and cleaning the sides and floors of the manhole, removing over flowed sludge from surrounding of manholes and removing the same outside the defence land including taking of manhole covers and re-fixing the same in position and testing of manholes by filling with water complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 6 here-in-before but for manhole depth exceeding 1.5m and not exceeding 3.00m complete all as specified and as directed. Note for Item No. 4 to 7 : Necessary safety measures shall be taken into consideration as per Govt policies and the cost of the same shall deemed to included in the rates quoted by contractor.

M&L Cleaning SWG/ PVC/ CI sewage pipe line manually or mechanically using cleaning rod or compressor and removing foreign material after clearing existing blockage for 75mm dia pipe on vertical walls/floors complete including testing all as specified and directed.

M&L Cleaning SWG/ PVC/ CI sewage pipe line manually or mechanically using cleaning rod or compressor and removing foreign material after clearing existing blockage for 110mm dia pipe on vertical walls/floors complete including testing all as specified and directed.

M&L Cleaning SWG/ PVC/ CI sewage pipe line manually or mechanically using cleaning rod or compressor and removing foreign material after clearing existing blockage for 150mm dia pipe complete including testing all as specified and directed.

M&L Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above GL)complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for cover slab set in and pointed in CM 1:6 including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length bend to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire(annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC Coping 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded aggregate including chamfered edges complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' brick in half brick thick built in CM (1:4) straight or curved in plan exceeding 6 mtr mean radius complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete wall surfaces finished to even and smooth without using extra cement in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in walls or floors etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 150 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in walls or floors etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete bed to drain pipe 150 mm dia in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate including packing under the haunching on sides all as directed and specified.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm complete all as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at level n. exc 1.5m above from the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Note : The work under Sr Item No 1 to 25 shall be carried out in area of responisibility under AGE B/R II including out stations.
