Construction of Missing Link i.e. CR-cum-HR of Gidhibas Distributary at RD 65934m of Kanupur Main Canal and Trough Section from RD 00m to 100m of Gidhibas Distributary of Kanupur Irrigation project

Earthwork in canal embankments including specified proud for all height using approved earth excavated by mechanical means from borrow area (to be arranged by the contractor observing all statutory acts / rules such as PESA/OMMC Rule -2004 etc.) including cost of loading into and transportation by mechanical means, unloading the earth in canal embankments/ canal beds on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface with cost of all leads, lifts, de-lifts, handling and re-handling charges etc., spreading and levelling the earth in layers not exceeding 22.5cm. in depth, removing the undesirable materials, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size, and make it ready for watering and compaction with vibratory roller as per the canal section but excluding the cost of spreading , watering and compaction and including the cost of lighting borrow areas, construction of approach roads to borrow areas, diversion roads, site illuminations, mobilisation, demobilisation, royalties,cess, T&P and all other cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement of earthfill to be taken on finished compacted level section under OMC condition)

Cost of royalty and cess of useful excavated earth from cutting zones to be carried and utilised in filling reaches, including spreading & levelling the earth in layers and removal of the undesirable materials, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size, to make ready for watering and compaction with Vibratory Roller but excluding watering and compaction, etc. complete, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Watering, spreading in layers not exceeding 22.5cm the embankment earthfill upto OMC condition and compaction to 95% dry density by Vibratory Roller and/or suitable compaction equipments to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge, to required desired density including cost of mobilisation, demobilisation, supplying, running and maintainance charges of all machineries and equipments, Tools & Plants,cess, labour required for the work, supervision charges, for all height of embankment with cost of all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per approved design, drawings, specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (measurement to be taken on the finished compacted level section )

Fine dressing and turfing the slopes of the canal embankments with approved quality of compact dub grass including cost of collection and supplying the same from the approved site, loading, unloading, conveyance charges, royalty,cess, all leads, lifts, and de-lifts, and as per approved design, drawing, specification, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including cost of mobilisation, demobilisation charges and all incidental charges to complete the item of work, with cost of supplying all machineries and equipments, their running and maintenance charges, all materials, labour required for the work, supervision charges, cost of watering and cost of making all arrangements for survival of the turf till its full growth, etc. complete in all respect. (Measurement will be taken after full survival of the growth of grass)

Excavation of foundation of structures by manual/ mechanical means in all kinds of soil ( This shall include ordinary soil, sand, silt, slushy soil, hard soil, gravelly soil, stoney earth mixed with gravels, pebbles, stone boulder not exceeding 0.014cum by volume, moorum, etc.) in both wet and dry condition, including cost of dewatering of foundation, coffer dam, dressing, levelling the foundation bed and sides as per drawing and specification, all leads, lifts, de-lifts etc, depositing the useful approved excavated earth in the canal embankments in filling section in layers not exceeding 22.5cm. in depth, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and depositing the un-useful surplus materials in spoil banks or on any other specified space with proper section as directed, by manual/mechanical means, with cost of all leads, lifts, de-lifts, loading and unloading, handling and re-handling, with all cost for site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, diversion road, royalties,cess, T&P etc. complete, with all cost incidental to the work as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation of foundation of structures by manual/ mechanical means in DI rock, laterite rock and soft rock not requiring blasting, removable by pick-axe and crow bars, in both wet and dry condition including cost of all incidental charges etc., depositing the excavated materials either in spoil bank or in any other specified space,as directed, by manual/ mechanical means, all leads, lifts, de-lifts etc., dewatering with all cost and running charges of pumps and accessories, coffer dams, dressing and levelling the bed and sides, with all cost for site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, royalties,cess, and T&P etc. complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with selected excavated materials by mechanical/ manual means and lying in layers, duly compacted, including watering, ramming, with all leads, lifts, de-lifts including all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and Filling foundation and plinth with sand by mechanical/ manual means, laying in layers, duly compacted, including cost of watering, ramming, with all leads, lifts, de-lifts and cost, carriage, royalty,cost of labour,cess, T&P and all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M-15 grade with 40mm and downgraded crusher broken hard granite aggregates, sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the specification, mixing by concrete mixer, laying manually in approved surface, with cost of all materials, leads, lifts, de-lifts, vibrating concrete by mechanical means, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means, supervision charges, construction and dismantling of gangways, scaffoldings and chute, conveyance, royalty , labour,cess, diversion road, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, including dewatering with all cost and running charges of pumps, all accessories and hire and running charges of machineries required for the work as per approved drawings and specifications, with all cost incidental to the work, etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
