SPECIAL REPAIR FOR CONVERSION OF HT OVERHEAD LINE TO HT UNDERGROUND CABLE FROM MRS ZONE-I TO MRS ZONE-II AT TBRL RANGE RAMGARH UNDER GE (I) RnD CHANDIGARH

Taking of complete proper shut down, disconnecting HT electric connection of overhead lines from MRS Zone-I to MRS Zone-II as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/in foundation trenches not exceeding 1.5 m in width, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out them excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil incl returning filling and removing as directed for laying of cable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- During work at site any running water pipe line/LT & HT electric cables, OFC damaged, will be repaired by the contractor on his own cost within three hrs.

M&L for excavation in trenches for HT pole, depth exe. 1.5 mtr but not exe. 3.0 mtr complete all as directed.

M&L for returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms. (Earth obtained from item No 3)

M&L for removing excavated material not exceeding 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above starting point. (Earth obtained from item No 3 only)

Supply and laying Galvanized steel tubing light grade with complete all fittings such as elbbow, unions, nipples, tees, bends, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, caps, plugs, diminishing pieces and sockets etc all as per site requirement of size 100 mm nominal bore size complete all as per specified and directed.

Supply, laying in trenches through HDPE/GI pipe, ducts or drain across roads, path, drains or fixed along poles/walls/floors etc incl testing and commissioning of HT cable ISI marked (IS:7098 Part-II)/1985 and its latest amendments XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with standard aluminium conductor, 11000 volts (earthed) grade having cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Cable joint shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and laying of size 180 mm dia (OD-180 mm & ID-152.0 mm nominal) DWC HDPE pipe ISI marked alongwith all accessories like socket, rubber gasket, pipe joint lubricant, bend, couplers etc. conforming to IS 14930, Part II complete with fitting and cutting, jointing etc direct in ground (upto 1.2 m below ground level) including fixing on wall, poles, surface as required on site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade ISI marked cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable size of 120 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable size of 120 sqmm to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of cable route marker with 10 cm x 10 cm x 5 mm thick G.I plate with inscription there on, bolted/welded to 35 mm x 35 mm x 6 mm angle iron, 60 cm long and fixing the same in ground with PCC 1:2:4 of block of size 30 x 30 x 30 cm as required.

Supply and fixing steel tubular swaged pole 11 metre long for 2 pole structure completed with base plate finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screw all as specified type 410, SP-55 (11 metres long) ISI Marked, completed with cast iron/MS base plate finial taper plug, bolts, but washers and screws as required duly painted with two coats of epoxy based paint aluminium grade finish to remaining external surface over one coat of suitable primer completed all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Excavation and foundation concrete will be measured and paid for separately. Poles shall be fixed as per Drg No CEPZ/C-TD/002/13 Sheet 1/5.

M&L for MS work confirming to Fe-410-O or Fe-310-O as in cross arms, support, bracings, stiffeners, clamps channels fabricated from structural steel including nuts, bolts and washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size all as directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coating of red oxide primer all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing stay assembly complete with all accessories such as galvanized stay plate 300mm x300mmx6mm, stay rod 20 mm dia and 215cm long threaded end with nuts including 14mm dia GI stay bow, Turn buckle, 7/4.0 mm dia G.I. stay wire etc. in cement concrete 1:3:6 complete, all as shown in Electrical plate No 1 of SSR part I complete, all as specified and directed. Note: The quoted rate shall include the cost of loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation, PCC, stay wire, stay bow, Turn buckle, nuts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with Galvanised MS earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm buired directly in the ground vertically to depth not less than 3 Mtr below the ground level with the top edge of earth plate depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below the ground level connected to GI earth sprip of 32 mm x 6 mm size by means of bolts , nuts and washers protected by GI tubing light grade 40 mm dia upto Test point 20 mm dia medium grade watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh , PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates chamber 40 mm thick RCC cover slab (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 including earth work in any type of soil , removal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 m and deposting where directed and providing charcol dust &salt layers all around the earth plate upto 15 cm all as required specified & as directed by Engr-in-Charge. ( Note: Up to 7.5 Mtr of pipe of 40 mm dia and GI strip shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by tenderer) Notes for srl item No. 15. 1.The rates for earthing under items includes the cost of followings: (a) Earth electrode. "(b) Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 metre" "(c) Material and labour for connecting earth electrode and earthing lead as specified." (d) Adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt. e) All labour involved including testing of earth net work. (f) Excavation and earth work or drilling hole for electrode. (g) P.C.C. pit and C.I. cover (h) Funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh and copper lugs etc. as specified. (j) G.I. protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (k) Test point and extra length of main earthing lead beyond 7.5 metres (l) Connecting lead from test point to main switch or switch board or equipment to be earthed. 2.On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be re-done at no extra cost."

Supply and fix earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI strip of 32 mm x 6mm fixing to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthiing etc. as required, including connection/terminating with G.I. nut, bolt , spring, washer etc, as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut, bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates in foundation of poles etc all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates in foundation of pole complete all as directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in benching/copping around poles including necessary form work complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS Clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT, 25 x20 cm size.

Supply and fixxing Gang operated switch outdoor type 11000 Volts, 200 Amp capcity tripple pole mechanically operated suitable for operation from ground level and for vertical mounting complete with HT insulators 9 Nos. with dropout fuse set, channel, knfe blades, GI pipe medium grade 25 mm dia for operating mechanism worked from ground level, locking arrangement with handle all cable end joint connection complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing anti-climbing device spike type fabricated out of flat iron 40 x 6 mm and MS bars (Round, Square, Flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole and painting one primar coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint including complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing lighting arresters explusion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp for 11000 volts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge/GE.

M&L for concrete graded stone aggregate using 20 mm grade using for laying to cover the area of Gang operating devices as specified.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections, GI Wire, Over head conductor and insulator with spindle etc. complete. (Note:- The dismantling of HT ACSR lines & connected items will be carried out after completion of UG cable work and charge of line only)
