M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam n exc 75 mm deep surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with srushed granite or trap of basalt stones aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) for the first layer and of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) for the second layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 3 here-in-before but except material complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade (VG-10) at 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-10 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (Specifications). (iii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 45/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iv) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade (VG-10) at 5 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet, 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 0.40 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder VG-10, laid and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand (As per 4.4.7.2 grading Zone-I, tabler 2 of SSR Part-I 2009) mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, VG-10 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bituminous premixed carpet shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid/ spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick center lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10 cm wide on roads pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road pavements paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and directed

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and refixing solar cat eye of size 125x125x25mm fixed with epoxy on road as per manufacturer instructions and embaded complete all as specified and directed.

S&F metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F speed bumps made of heavy duty tough rubber of size 500mm x 365mm x 50mm, black and yellow in colour complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and refixing of speed bumps made of heavy duty tough rubber of size 500mm x 365mm x 50mm, black and yellow in colour complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work as in fencing/ sign board posts including cutting tops to snape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc, flat iron fillets including necessary drilling boltingor riveting etc and similar work complete all as specified and direceted.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc. complete all as specified and direceted.

Demolition of cement concrete (un reinforced) in ground floor and paving n. exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggrigate) as in coping including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of interlocking paver block laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair retro reflective signage board sheets, one sided, made up of 3 mm thick ACP sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type activated retro reflective sheeting confirming to type -IV of ASTM-D-4956-01 in blue or silver white colour or other colour combination including subject matter, message's, symbols, borders and Drg etc with high intensity grade, as approved by GE, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing and fixing the sheet with steel frame work with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair retro reflective signage board sheets, both sided, made up of 3 mm thick ACP sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type activated retro reflective sheeting confirming to type -IV of ASTM-D-4956-01 in blue or silver white colour or other colour combination including subject matter, message's, symbols, borders and Drg etc with high intensity grade, as approved by GE, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing and fixing the sheet with steel frame work with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair retro reflective strips (reflectors) of 50 to 150 mm one sided, made up of 1 mm thick aluminium sheet face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting confirming to type -IV of ASTM-D-4956-01 colour as approved by GE, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing and fixing the strip in length on roadside parapet walls etc with suitable size screws/ rivets complete all as specified and directed.

S&F stainless steel pipe 32 mm dia of grade 202 medium as in framed work such as sign boards/ railing etc including all necessary welding, drilling or revetting, brackets, stopers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F stainless steel pipe 50 mm dia of grade 202 medium as in framed work such as sign boards/ railing etc including all necessary welding, drilling or revetting, brackets, stopers and including embedding the same in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 below ground level size of PCC (450x450x600mm) including excavation in soft/ disintegrated rock complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggrigate) as in block masonry with solid blocks exc 10 cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L (except block) precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks exc 10 cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 12mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
