Supply , installation, testing & commissioning of Silent engine generating set with accoustic enclosure as per latest norms CPCB-IV plus 415 volts 320 kVA / 256 KW , 386 BHP 3 phase 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self excited self regulated brushless AC generator including accoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition and conforming to condition under latest BS/IS with and including the following:- (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due de-rating factors as per relevant ISI design (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cable and terminations form Generator to the AMF Panel, with necessary holes to wall including making good to disturbed surfaces so as to match with the existing finishes all as specified and directed. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of oil and final successful acceptance test Contd.....

(A) Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 320 kVA net output at site after considering de-rating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self excited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of +/- 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be conforming to latest BS/IS and shall be imposition to generate supply with frequency regulation with in +/- 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally following :- i) Insualation class - 'H‘ "ii) Temparature rise Class - 'H‘ iii) Excitation : Self Excited iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with +/- 1%, manual voltage adjustment within +/- 5% v) Frequency regulation +/- 1%" Contd.....

(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine as accosted by the accepting officer basing on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per latest ISI/BS with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under :- i)Fly wheel with housing "ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven Contd.....

iv) Exhaust System :- as per manufacture with MS pipe light grade upto & outside and 1meter away from the enclosure, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of 28 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. Exhaust gas turbo charger type. "ix) Batteries :- Batteries of maintenance free of capacity 180 AH 12 volts 02 nos for as recommended by the manufacturer complete with copper conductor multi stranded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified and Starter gear ring Start and stop push button, Ignition key / Switch Handling and operation : Salient features of accessories shall be as under: Radiator with blower fan" "Corrosion inhibitor coolant Paper element filters for fuel, lub oil and by pass Electronic governor controlled direct fuel injection system Fly wheel housing and fly wheel" x) Generator Monitoring Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as mentioned under this schedule or asper standard practice iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, water/coolent temparature indicator, Battary volt display. xi) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure high water temparature and over speeding of engine xii) Coupling arrangement : - Flexible coupling, fly wheel to suit flexible coupling "xiii) Accessories :- AVM Pads built in enclosure and for entire unit on platform. xiv) Base Frame : - Should be provided as OEM norms xv) Fuel Tank :- Additional Fuel Tank of capcaity to suit Daily service fuel tank made out of 3mm thick (10G) HR sheet top and bottom with caliberated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, fuel pump of suitable capacity complete on a common base out side the accoustic enclosure." C) AMF Panel :- Factory made inbuilt type control cubical made out of 2mm thick CRCA sheet dust and vermin proof totally enclosed with front opening of 415 volts 3 -phase 4 - wire AC 50 Hz, including powder coated, copper bus bar of one and half times the rated load of 320 KVA alternator complete with internal wiring with PVC insulated single core copper conductor multi stranded wire of 1100 volts grade of suitable capacity, fuses, name plates consisting of 4 pole MCCBs and Contactors of capacity as recommended by the manufacturer. Detachable cable gland plates, all controls, indicators and standardstandard microprocessor based LED/LCD display for indicating voltage, current, frequency, speed, kW, kWH, pf, temperature, Battery voltage, etc "g) Annuciation with indication lamps for : (i) Low lub oil pressure." "c) Sound Insulation :- As per OEM Norms vi) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit" "vii) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable insulated plat form " "viii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button ix) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by CFL/FTL Lamp fittings. x) The noise level should be 75 dba at 1m under free field conditions." xi) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Gen set Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade Contd.....

Notes :- (a) the engine and alternator shall be factory assembled. (b) Net cut out should be 320 KVA after considering due derating factor. (c) DHPP 'N' will be provided by the contractor for testing of DG Set for 12 hours continuos testing of full load . (d) The foundation of DG set shall be provided by the contractor as per manufactor specification and as directed by GE, the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted by tenderer. (e) Dismantling and taking out old U/s DG Set deposit to MES Store yard.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm, burried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate vertically to a depth not less than 1.5m below ground level, connected to galvanised iron strips 32 x 6 mm of any length as required at site, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised steel, earth lead wire encased in and including 40 mm bore GI medium grade pipe for protection of GI wires 20 mm dia watering pipe medium grade including charcoal dust and common salt packed all around the earth plate, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil /strata all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated and testing on completion including funnel with wire mesh, earthing chamber with PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 80 mm thick precast RCC 1:1.5:3 type A-1 cover duly reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg/sqm) and frame including all excavation and earth work etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth chamber shall be constructed at least 1.50 metre away from the top of earth electrode, the earth pit and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE screened PVC insulated bedded galvanisedsteel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminiumconductor of size 240 Sqmm 3.5 Core, complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Tenderers may note that amount of credit Rs 1685.00 will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
