REPAIRS AND RESURFACING OF CERTAIN ROADS AND ROADS FURNITURE, ROAD MARKING PAINT IN CERTAIN LOCATION IN TECH AREA AT AF STN-I JAMNAGAR

M&L for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying a tack coat of bitumen 20/30 @0.5 Kg/sqm over the existing bitumious surface and providing 30mm thick Mastic asphalt on prepared surface strictly in accordance with IS 5317-2002 (latest modified) with Mastic i.e. bituminous of grade 20/30 @4.49 Kg mixed with stone dust (lime stone powder with calcium value 80%) @ .008 Cum/Sqm and stone chipping of size 12.5mm and 10mm @.0096 Cum/Sqm and sand @0.004 Cum/Sqm and inserting stone 22mm size with .017kg of 20/30 bitumen/sqm for anti skiding including all tools and plants etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: rate of carring out design mix shall be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor if applicable.)

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adusted @ the rate of 51.30/KG for the less quanity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc, rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, depth exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and over a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate 5 kg per 10 Sqm by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing and applying 1 mm to 2mm thick road marking paint (retro-reflective with glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm) of approved shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Demolition of PQC / PCC of any description and in any position any thickness below or above ground level, including removal of debris to a distance exc 1.5 km but n.exc 5 km.

M & L for Providing and Laying Dry lean Concrete (DLC) 100 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP 49 :2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 MPa Minimum cemen content not less than 140 Kg/Cum DLC mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting usign high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specified and tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013 complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Design mix for DLC will be carried out from the authorised Lab and shall be approved by GE before execution at site. (ii) The Cost incurred towards the testing and design shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer as specified and directed, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390gm/Sqm over tack coat and cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm (No additionaI amount to be paid for overlap) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 200mm thick M-25 design mix in hardstanding/ PCC Path and top surface finished belted/broom finish, formwork for edges, using curing etc complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Admixture (i.e super plasticizer) as per approved design mix shall be added & mixed and cost of Admixture shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. . (ii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iii) Required vibrator shall be used.

M&L for forming 20mm thick expansion joint for 200mm thickness of concrete slab filled with preformed btiuminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade 'B' including boring formwork and performed filler board all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming contraction(Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement Speed bumps of size 750mmx250mmx75mm made of sturdy plastice high resistance to severe impact and harsh weather conditions with dovetail interlocking type sub units made to bind prefectly into one firm bump having pre-coloured material (black/yellow) and UV stablizers to keep them prepetually colourful studded with with reflectors on either side fixed on road surface with & including nails / screws / bolts / polymer / epoxy adhesive etc all as per manufacturer’s instructions including filling up hollow portion of bumps with & including PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken speed bumps of any type.

S&F in repair cat eyes ABS material 100mm x 100m x20mm two side Acrylic plastic reflectors etc including taking down of old cat eyes, complete all as specified and as directed .

S&F in repair mild steel round pipe Delineator with reflector white/orange colour reflectors including pre-powder coated MS pipe of 75mm dia x1200mm (900mm below + 300mm GL) height fixed in ground post hole size of 300 x 300 x 300mm with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary excavation and earth work along with taking down of old u/s delineator complete all as specified & directed

M & L in replacement for fabrication and erecting of Road sign Board of size 1200mm x 1200 mm (size of aluminium composite panel) errect in position as directed adopting the following specification / measurement. (a) Main Post 02 Nos of stainless steel pipe 50 mm dia & 1.5 mm wall thickness of grade 316, lenght of each post 2.10 mtr( 1.8 mtr above GL and 0.30 mtr below GL) (b) Frame around aluminium sheet , fabrication with 25 mm size stainless steel square tube with 1.5 mm wall thickness including fixing arrangement for aluminium sheet and welded on main post. (c) 3 mm thick aluminium composite panel material of 2 mm thick mineral core sandwiched between two aluminium sheets (each 0.5 mm thick). The aluminium composite panel shall be coil coated, with kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on exposed face and polymer (service) coating on other face, fixed over SS frame. (d) Providing both side of aluminium sheet High intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out massage (legends borders, letters numerals, site map sheeting, pasting as per manufactures instruction and 2mm thick tranparent acrylic sheet fixed with screw over sticker complete. (Note; Stainless steel section mentioned above shall be of grade 316.)
