Lightning Protection Work

Supply and providing plate earthing as per IS 3043 with 1200x1200x12 mm GI/CI earth plate, 20 mm GI watering pipe fixed to the earth plate with 20 x 3 mm Cu clamps, GI funnel with weld mesh, filling required quantity of charcoal including construction of inspection chamber with a bed concrete of 1:4:8 PCC using 40 mm broken stone, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering the surface of brick masonry and the exposed surface of PCC bed with cement mortar 1:4, with suitable thick, but excluding test joint, earth continuity conductor to the plate, and covering at the top.(in ordinary rock - soft laterite soil).

Supply and providing test joint for the earthing system using 25 x 3 mm Cu strips including cutting and bending to shape, drilling necessary holes and fixed to the watering pipe etc as required.

Supply and laying 25 x 3 mm Cu strips through Apoxy/ceramic insulator on surface of roofing sheet/wall /parapet spacing of insulator not exceeding 1m, making good the damages, colour washing etc as required by mechanical and manual means (scaffolding and hanging).

Supply and fitting Apolxy/ceramic insulator on wall using anchor bolt including drilling holes, making good the damages, color washing etc as required by mechanical and manual means (scaffolding and hanging).

Riveting , sweating and soldering of one copper strip with another copper strip using suitable dia. MS bolt and nut/ rivets including drilling holes, tinning etc. as required.

Supply and providing 1 mtr Air terminal with accessaries as per IEC -62305 part III, 10 mm aluminium interception rod of 1 mtr mounted on base using plug technolegy with vario quick connector 2498-10ST with an interception tip on the top.

Supply and providing Cu base plate for mounting the Air terminal at the top of the building.

Note :1 All materials, Items, Equipment shall be best branded items with IS and approved by client/KEL

2:Rate should be inclusive of Insurance,Transportation, delivery and installation cost for all items

3.Rate should be Exclusive of GST.

4.Work should be executed as per DSR/PWD specification and direction of Engineer at site.

5.ELECTRICAL: Note: Rate should be inclusive of preparation of schematic diagram and getting approval from KSEB/Electrical Inspectorate. Statutory fees paid to KSEB/EI shall be paid by us separately.

All electrical materials/equipments shall be of best branded items with ISI, strictly as per schedule specification

Cables & wires - Finolex/KEI/POLYCAB/RPG/V-GUARD

Switches/Sockets/Regulators - SCHEIDER/ABB/HAVELS/LEGRAND or equivalent

Cable Glands & Sockets - REPUTED MAKE , Cosmos

Indicating Lamps - TEKINIC/RISHUB/STC, L&T, Schneider or equivalent
