OUTSOURCING SERVICES FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF HT/LT INSTALLATIONS AND UPKEEPING OF INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION IN RESIDENTIAL AREA AT SERVICE CENTRE NO 2 AT DRDO COMPLEX CV RAMAN NAGAR UNDER GE(I) RndD (WEST) BEGALURU

Providing services for maintenance, operation and up-keeping of HT & LT installations, switch gears, RMU/SF6 / load break units, power controlled, transformers, OCBs and VCBs, OH lines 4 pole structures, GODs, DO fuses, street lights controls, LT panel boards, DG sets, installed in Sub-station No 2 (Service Centre 2), including fuse off call and maintain the equipments as detailed here-in-after and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge. The quoted rate shall deemed to include for the following :- NOTES for Serial Item Nos 1.00 :- i) Manning and Operating round the clock in three shifts on all days including Sundays and Holidays . (0600 Hours to 1400 Hours - Ist Shift, 1400 Hours to 2200 Hours - 2nd shift & 2200 Hours to 0600 Hours - 3rd shift) with Electrician - 1 No and Helper - 1 No per shift . All the above tasks shall be performed by skilled persons possessing the requisite qualifications. Contractor has to produce such certificate issued by the Government authorities to the Garrison Engineer for approval before commencement of work. ii) Cleaning of working areas, equipments, sub stations building and maintenance of garden areas. iii) Proper records of all operating parameters in the prescribed log book/register shall be maintained by the contractor in the installation for periodical check by the Engineer-in-charge. iv) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proofs of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, the cost for the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations in force lies with the tenderer. The provision of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, ESI payments shall be strictly adhered to by the contractor. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF and ESI paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments.

Sl Item No 1.00 (contd.,) v) Absent from duty of technician is not permissible as E&M services are essential in nature. However, the absence will invite penalty as described in Sch 'A' notes and recovery shall be done through recovery statement from the payment due . The tenderer will have no claim whatsoever on this account and decision of Accepting officer in this regard will be final and binding. vi) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proof of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, cost for the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations in force lies with the tenderer. Provisions of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, ESI payments shall be strictly adhered to by the contractor. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF and ESI paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments. vii) Various items required for replacement shall be regulated by the department specified as 'supply only' items here-in-after. However, replacement cost (labour element) of those items shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item. Items mentioned as 'Supply only', shall be supplied by the contractor as per site requirement. viii) The rates quoted by the Contractor / firm shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Govt Of India / State Govt / Local body whichever is higher, including taxes as applicable. In case the rates quoted are less than the minimum wages as mentioned hereinbefore, his/their tender will be treated as non-bonafide and will not be considered for Acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid / bonafide bids only. Contractor shall not have any claim in this regards.

Periodical checking and attending day to day E/M complaints, connected with internal electrification and maintenance of internal electrification comprising of periodical checking of power DBs including tightening of connections, changing of burnt-out terminals, MCBs, connectors etc., checking of earthing of the LT distribution system, periodical maintenance of earth pits including measurement of earth resistance, attending day-to-day complaints including checking and replacement of burnt-out and unserviceable items like wiring, connected fittings and fixtures, MCB DBs, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, replacement of tube rods of any wattage, choke, starters, point wiring, sub-main wiring, switch socket combination of any capacity, switches, fan regulators, capacitors, replacement of fuses, CFL bulbs, lamp holders etc., complete all as specified, in day time by deploying certified / skilled workers in general shift service center No. 2 and in fuse off call office, on all days including Sundays and holidays, complete all as specified and directed. NOTES for Serial Item Nos 2.00 :- i) Manning and Operating in one shift on all days including Sundays and Holidays (0830 Hours to 1730 Hours with Electrician - 1 No and Helper - 1 No per shift.
