1 Construction site of polyhouse F.O.R.-20 Nos. will be constructed at Arunachal Pradesh in NEH Program 2 Size Preferably Length = 18.2 to 19.0 m and Width = 5.25 to 5.5 m 3 Area At least 100 sq m 4 Central Height 4.2 to 4.4 m 5 Side Height 2.5 to 2.6 m 6 Shape Hut 7 Span 5.25 to 5.5 m (Single span with top vent) 8 Column Spacing 2.6 to 2.7 m 9 Super Structure Complete Structure made of G.I.H.S. square tubes completely fitted in zero energy with Nut and bolts (dismantleable) with single door as given below: i) Vertical columns G.I.H.S. Square tube 50 x 50 x 2 mm ii) Trusses G.I.H.S. Square tube 38 x 38 x 2 mm iii) Front and Back frame rest all purlins and brackets G.I.H.S. Square tube 32 x 32 x 2 mm iv) Fitting Completely fitted in zero energy with Nut and bolts (dismantleable) v) Door Single door at middle, size 2.1 x 1 m with complete fitting locking facility etc. 10 Galvanization Quality All pipes should be deep/hot galvanized, corrosion resistant and ISI mark 11 Grouting All vertical column to be grouted 30 x 30 x 60 cm with cement concrete 3:1 12 Glazing/ Covering The complete structure to be covered with U.V. stabilized 200 micron multilayer polyfilm 13 Fixing of sheet The complete polyfilm to be fixed with G.I. Profile & locking springs • Profiles to be fixed with self-drilling steel screws 14 Side Ventilation Both length side of structure to be fixed with 40 mesh Nylon Net (Preferably Netlon) upto 2.2 to 2.3 m height from ground as fixed with Polyfilm rolling system operational with Universal Joints (manual) with holding belts to protect from winds 15 Top Ventilation For cross ventilation Top ventilation opening of 0.5 m to be provided with fixing of 40 mesh I.P. net 16 Bottom Apron Bottom Apron (Both sides across the length): UV stabilized Skirting Film 140 GSM, the apron plastic must be buried in the ground at least 60cm from ground level. The apron plastic must come with 3 year warranty/ The apron plastic must be laminated on both sided and a height of 0.3/0.4m above ground and 60cm buried below ground. 17 Tender should contain samples of all the products including polyfilm, insect proof net, square tubes, etc. with complete technical specifications. 18 The firm should be responsible for all land leveling works and head loading (may be upto 1 km from motor road) 19 Products with BIS standards only are accepted 20 An iron display plate (1.5-feet length x 1-foot width) depicting "ICAR-VPKAS, Almora" with Farmers Name, Village Name, Year of construction etc." written in Hindi shall be displayed (fixed) on the gate of polyhouse 21 If required, the Institute may issue work orders in splits 22 Three years on-site maintenance for all the components is required. 23 ICAR-VPKAS is to be written on the roof of Polyhouse with the green colored radium tape (5cm widthx60cm length) 24Tender should contain a separate certificate regarding the, covering material has anti-fungal, anti-drip, anti-fog, anti-dust and UV stabilized properties
