S/E OF PUMPING MACHINERY (Submersible) :- Providing and installation of suitable raw water submersible star rated pumpset type KRT capable of handling 2500 PPM turbidity, of KSB make or of approved make by Jal shakti Vibhag (H.P) (List attached) conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible sq cage motor shaft conf to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments of 1450 (N) RPM, totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 +/- 15 % volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. The power of motor should be at least 10% in excess of maximum power required by the pump in complete operating range with mounting stand/ duck foot bend, steel guide wire with mounting hook, lowering chain and standard accessories as supplied by the manufacturers complete, suitable for fulfilling the following requirements:- For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in data sheet No. 6 in Vol-II.

S/E OF PUMPING MACHINERY (CENTRIFUGAL) :- Providing horizontal spindle,horizontal/redial split casing/end suction(Back-pull out arrangements) single/double/multi stage star rated centrifugal pump or combination of pumps, in series/parallel of recommended make of such as Mather and Platt /KSB/ Beacon Weir/ Kirloskar/ BE/ Jyoti as per BIS 1520-1980 or of approved make by Jal shakti Vibhag (H.P) (List attached) with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting water for under mentioned characterestics as per manufacturer impellers/priming funnels,casing ring and shaft sleeves ,shaft of steel grade 4508 FN8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common MS/Cast steel base plate (base plate to be from the manufacturer of the pumping unit only) to slip ring/ squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor /motors of standard make such as Kirlosker/BHEL /Crompton /NGEF /GEC/Siemens/Jyoti /ABB and suitable for operation on 415(+/-)15% volts,50 cycles /second.3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1992. It should include cost of bearing nuts , bolts and painting etc. and should meet the following requirements: For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in data sheet No. 6 in Vol-II.

Excavation in foundation and trenches in earth work upto all depth in all kinds of soil such as pick work jumper work,blasting work,chiselling of soft /hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts and including trimming of sides levelling of bed to correct grade stacking the excavated soil in 15cm.layers when required into plinth sides of foundation including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing oof all surplus excavated soil as directed in all leads and lifts and soring/strutting timbering and dewatering where ever required to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement:6 sand: 12 graded stone aggregated 40 mm nominal size ) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth.
Providing form work with steel plate3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish i/c centring, shuttering,shurtting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies, height of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceillig not exceeding 4mts.and removal of the same for insitu - reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in:- Vertical surface
P/L Cement Cocrete 1:5:.10 (1cement, 5sand, 10 graded stone aggregate, 40mm nominal size) with 15% plum and curing complete excluding cost of form work in retaining wall/ breast wall, the size of plum shall usually be 150mm to 300mm as per HPPWD specification.
Random rubble masonary / Polygonal rubble masonary (coursed or brought to courses with hard stones of approved quality in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 sand)
Brick work using common burunt clay building bricks in foundation and plinth in cement mortor 1:6 (1 cement : 6 sand)
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1cement:2 sand: 4graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size )and curing complete excluding the cost of form work and reinforcement in:- i) in Toping above Brick Masonary Pillars.
15 mm cement plaster in single coat on rough side of brick/concrete stone walls for interior plastering up to floor two levels including arrises, internal rounded angles, chamfers and/or rounded angles not exceeding 80 mm in girth and finished even and smooth in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement:6 sand)
Wall painting (two coats) with Acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture on undecorated wall surfaces to give an even shade including thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortor droppings and other foreign matter
Steel work welded in built up sections,trusses and framed work including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint in all leads and lifts :- in gratting, framed guard bar, ladders, railing brackets and similar works.

Storage Tanks:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground RCC Storage Tanks as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks . The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of 6 sets of structural design and drawings etc complete as directed by engineer in chargeas per relevent data sheet and scope of work. Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Laying,jointing ( by way of circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ) and testing of Galvanised mild steel tubes (GI Pipes) of following dia meters confirming to BIS 1239-2004 (latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as per code with bevelled / plain ends in a random length of 4 to 7 meters, including manufacturing reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe.
