(1) The rates and prices shall be submitted in the electronic formats given by n-procure which is called

Schedule-B. Rates and prices received in any other formats will be rejected and the Bids will be disqualified.

(2) It will be entirely at the discretion of the Employer to accept or reject the bidder’s proposal, without giving

any reasons whatsoever and the bidder shall not be permitted to withdraw his bid on this account.

payment. The TDS shall be deducted at source as per provision of IT rules and GWSSB policy.

(21) The rates should be quoted exclusive of GST but inclusive of all other taxes as per Volume-1 (B),

General Conditions of Contract, Clause No.47.

(22) The Bidders shall have to quote the rates in this tender keeping in view of the GST. The Complete

responsibility of taxes, duties, levies rests with the Contractor/Agency only.

(23) The process requires that the bidder shall quote his price for the work components contained in the price

schedules for the entire work.

(24) Payment shall be made for the components for which lump sump prices are quoted, as per the schedule of

payment. Total cost will be worked out on the basis of work done of individual items and rates quoted

against those particular items only.

1. Having visited the site and examined the Bid Documents, Drawings, Conditions of Contract, Specifications,

construct, complete, commission, operate and maintain the whole of the said works for 3 years from the date

of commissioning including defects liability period as given in Conditions of Contract and in conformity with

Documents, including Addenda Nos.__________ (insert numbers) for Lump sum fixed price of

including free trial run for three months or such other sum as may be ascertained in accordance with the

1. The Schedule specifies the procedure for assessment of all items indicated in Schedule B.

2. Each item in Schedule B has been divided into broad components. The Employer’s Representative shall assess

the value of each component accordingly.

3. Percentages are indicated against each component of every item specified in Schedule B, based on the

Employer’s best technical and financial assessment of the component’s proportion in relation to the total

estimated cost of the respective item. A heading titled “Any Other Item(s)” is included in the breakdown of each

item, and the tenderer shall, at the time of submission of the tender, indicate any additional items which he

considers necessary but which are not covered under the specified heads in the breakup.

4. For Mechanical Works – Schedule B, the percentages indicated against various components of mechanical items

(such as Pump Set, Motor, Control Panel, Cables, Valves, Piping, Structural Supports, Testing & Commissioning,

etc.) have been determined based on the Employer’s technical and financial evaluation in proportion to the total

estimated cost of the respective item.

5. The indicated percentages are meant solely for the purpose of Running Account (R.A.) Bills, progress payments,

and cost distribution. They shall not be considered as a basis for alteration of the Accepted Contract Rate.

6. The rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include Supply, Loading and Unloading, Transportation up

to Site, Insurance, Safe Storage, Erection, Alignment, Testing, Commissioning, Performance Trial, applicable

Taxes and Duties, Labour, Tools & Plants (T&P), Overheads, Contractor’s Profit, and all incidental expenses

necessary for completion of the work.

7. The decision of the Executive Engineer / Employer in this matter shall be final, binding, and conclusive upon the

BREAK UP FOR INTERIM PAYMENTS

RWSS is restored to its original operational condition, such that

the work covered under this agreement no longer requires

further Operation and Maintenance. In such a case, payment

shall be made only for the actual Operational and eligible Non-

Operational Periods completed up to the date of

discontinuation, as per the applicable payment provisions.
