RCC Dyke/ Key :-Designing , Surveying and Construction ,testing and commissioning of RCC Key/ Dyke specified in the basic design data near to Existing Check Dam at Headworks of LWSS Khundian and Tip Thalakan including Providing and laying RCC Design mix Concrete M -20 & 25 in Bed / Walls and Apron back side as per soil bearing capacity with the approval of structural drawing from competent authority prior to execution complete within all leads and lifts. complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design with one soft copy to the department. ( Data Sheet No.1 Vol-II)
Designing and Construction ,testing and commissioning of waterTreatment plant .310 MLD SSF :- the scope of work includes the construction of 0.310 WTP capacity water treatment plant capable to treat the raw water of the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clear water as per the requirements of CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment and as specified in basic design data. The water treatment plant shall include the construction of raw water tank, Sedimentation tank, alum solution/mixing tanks and dosing arrangement,slow sand filters bed complete with scouring arrangement,clear water tank, complete disinfection arrangement with bleaching powder based Chlorination ,(toilet ), requirement,piping,valves mechanical, interconnecting paths, site development upto a minimum of 3m from edge of battery limit of plant, retaining and breast walls and fencing.The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings( 6copies) for each component oftreatmentplant which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The design/drawingsof the mechnical/ electrical equipment etc. along with manufacturersspecificattion/design also be submitted for approval by the department.Onthe completion of allcivil, mechnical and electrical works the contractor shall test run the plant for one week beforehanding over the same to the department at the cost of the contractor.However,electrical chareges shall be borne by the department. .During this period the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done. Complete record of the test results and the flow measurements shall be kept during this period. If the performance of various units of thetreatment plant is as specified in CPHEEO manual, the dfplant shall be formally taken over by the department,otherwise the contractor shall make necessary change / repairs to improve theefficiency of the unit/plant.The contractor/ firm shall run and maintain the plant for one month afterhandingover the plant to the department. During this period the firm shall depute at least onetrainedperison to train the departmental persons in operating, maintaining the plant and regulartesting of the raw water and treated. Pump House:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) Construction of RCC framed pump house 5 mtrs height , including Gantry system of Pump Houses at following Locations including all allied Civil Works, internal & external Electrical work wiring, Sanitay work, excavation in foundation in all kinds of soils, c/o Toilets, c/o Septic Tanks of capacity for required users, including cost of site development required as per site condition,internal and, external landscaping, dewatering including P/F3/5 Tonne chain pulley / Gantry alongwith MS rail along longitudinal wall of approved ISI make electrically operated alongwith all allied accessories and painting with asian apex ultima with priming coat and wall putty and fire fighting system complete as directed by engineer in charge. (Ref data sheet No. 2 & 3 for further details.). The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing with design and one soft copy to the department. ( Data Sheet No.3 Vol.II)

And RCC (1:1.5:3) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves, be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge .The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions. The HP are indicative.Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly. Providing , laying, jointing & testing of bevelled ended MSERW pipe with circumfrential butt welded joints 90% & 10% Flanged wherever required by electrical arc welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of GMSERW pipe of following dia meters conforming to IS 3183-2012(Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall also include welding of flanged joints of duly welded every sixth pipe in three layers (one inner two outer) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees, making bevelled pipe ends suitable for butt welding , lowering & laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level complete in all respects to the best satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) . .The fabricated bends should have three or four cuts having of redius not less then 5 times of dia metrs of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani, Oerlikon/L&T of ISI make. The damaged portion of pipe if damaged during laying/jointing,operation of pipe all other special made for the parent tube shall be provided with anticrossibe treatnent or applying the coat of anticrossibe bitumen paint over coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978. The rate also include entire carriage of material, flushing cleaning & testing pipe D.P.Test of but welded joint complete in all respect & best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge.

The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge with in all leads and lifts.

Laying,jointing & testing of screwed and socketted Galvanised Mild steel tube of approved make or of approved rate contract of DGS & D/HP Government conforming to BIS 1239-2004 ( with upto date ammendements ) of following diameter and class including all specials and fittings as required complete as per actual site condition with in all leads and lifts as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted.The pipe shall be factory galvanized as per IS: 4736-1986 (with up to date ammendements) with zink coating not less than 400 gms/sqm. ( Earth work in trenches to be measured and paid separately )After getting the design approved from competent authority, If there will be any change in the class and thickness of pipe, the cost of the same will be paid on pro-rata basis.
