REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF HT LT VCB ACB, APFC PANELS AND CERTAIN MISCELLANEOUS WORKS AT NPOL, KOCHI

M&L for Maintenance of HT/LT VCB/ACB of rating from 400 Amp to 3600 Amp 415 Volt 50 HZ of any make installed at substation/MRS at NPOL complete by taking the shut down with prior intimation and cleaning the HT/LT VCB/ACB by using air blower tightening of connection of control circuit and complete checking of all fuses, checking relay and control circuit for smooth functioning by employing one skilled tradesman as and when required and also to carry out following works . Note: Unit rate include for preventive maintenance / attending break down as and when required.

Check and clean incoming and outgoing terminals / compartment

Checking the serviceability of close and trip coil condition and taking out for replacement.

Checking the serviceability of control circuit , relays ,fuses and Electrical /Mechanical interlocks,

Replacing the spares such as Shunt release, UV release, tripping/ Closing coil shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Note : (a) Rate Quoted deemed to be including cost of replacing small piece of control circuit wires up to 1.00m, LT fuses and Push buttons for ON/Off if required .

Supply and fix in replacement shunt release for LT ACB 415/240 Volt AC up to 3600 Amp as per existing. Make: L&T / GE/Havells/English Electric

Supply and fix in replacement under voltage release 415/230 Volt suitable for LT ACB of rating up to 630 Amp as per existing. Make: L & T / GE/Havells/ English Electric

Supply and fix in replacement Volt meter 0-500 Volt digital type, Three phase of size 96 X 96 mm flush mounted case in existing panel including wiring from bus bar to volt meter terminals so as to match with the existing control wiring complete all as specified and as directed. [Make: Neptune/ AEI/ Meco/L& T/Elmeasure ]

Supply and fix in replacement digital Ammeter of size 96 X 96mm flush mounted of range from 50 Amp to 3500 Amp, three phase connected from CT ratio -/ 5 in existing panel with necessary wiring from CT to Ammeter and so as to match with existing control wiring complete all as specified and as directed by the engineer - in-charge. [Make: Neptune/ AEI/ Meco/ L& T/Elmeasure.]

Supply and fix in replacement current Transformer of following rating ,Indoor type, insulated ring type in existing panel including taking down old unserviceable CT's of any make /rating complete all as specified and as directed. [Make :AE / Kappa/PGR]

M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25 X 4 .00 mm as earthing by means of bolts nuts and washers of galvanized iron including excavation and earth work and disposal of surplus soil including 40 mm GI tubing light grade and necessary fittings for protection of GI strip including laying of charcoal , dust and common salt, PCC 1:2: 4 type B 1 using 20 mm graded aggregate with earth pit with 40 X 40 X 6.0 mm MS angle iron frame RCC cover 40 mm thick (1:2: 4) Type C0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with 8 mm dia round bar @ 75 mm C/C both way with plastering 15 mm thick CM ( 1: 6) internally and up to 150 mm below ground level externally. Supply, install, test and commissioning in replacement of Automatic power factor improvement panel of 50 KVAR capacity including APFC relay, capacitor of type heavy duty cylindrical, contactors and control wiring with copper wire in indoor type panel board made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, CPRI approved , including cooling fan, copper bus bar of 250 Amp capacity, (independent cabin including locking arrangement for each, bus bar chamber etc with all necessary protection etc and 125 Amp capacity MCCB TPN rup capacity 16 KA as incomer complete all as specified and as directed . The panel shall be fixed with angle iron frame made of angles of size 50 X 50 X 6mm, bolted in ground /floor mounted and comprising the following:

M& L for surface dressing to E/M installations /1.5m from outside of fencing, E/M store yards of following area not exceeding 15 cm deep getting out soft / loose soil removing shrubs, small trees height up to 1.0m, removing the grass from route and cleaning the fencing by removing small trees /Vegetation on fencing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Rate includes removing all waste material and grass not exceeding 50m distance from installation ,depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point and cleaning of yard , Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in Charge

Supply and fix in replacement Capacitor duty contactors with auxiliary contacts of following capacity including dismantling the existing duty contactors of any rating/make and making connection to fuse links /MCB and capacitor bank complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and ix in replacement LED type piolet lamp suitable for working voltage range up to 240 Volt AC . Make : Neptune / L&T / Vaisnavo/ C &S

M & L for cutting the tree branches at a distance not exceeding 2.0 Mtrs way from LT distribution lines, of tree branch of trunk size up to 50mm dia as directed and removing branches at a distance not exceeding 50 Mtrs from Road /Path. Note: Each pole locations / Distance between Two poles of Distance maximum up to 30 Mtrs is considered as One job irrespective of number of tree branches for cutting tree branches for over head lines .

M & L for cutting the tree branches at a distance not exceeding 2.0 Mtrs way from Street light poles /fitting, roof top of E/M Installation of G+0 Building of tree branch of trunk size up to 50 mm dia as directed and removing branches at a distance not exceeding 100 Mtrs from Road /Path. Note: Branch cutting around 2.0 Mtrs area to a 3 Nos street light pole is considered as one Job.

S& F in replacement on load change over switch of 630 Amp , 4 pole in existing panel with necessary modification in bus bar arrangement if required all as complete as directed by EIC .Make: L &T/ Havells / Siemens

M&L for wiring from CT's inserted in Incoming Switch gear/Bus Bar for sensing the instantaneous power factor to APFC relay with two run 2.5 Sq mm PVC insulated FR conductor passing through PVC conduit not less than 20 mm dia surface type fixed on wall/Panel with necessary saddles and fixing arrangements complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Rate includes contractor has to check the APFC relay/panel after completion of work with different load condition, after disconnecting the existing supply connections to Relay panels complete. (ii) Quoted rate inclusive of conduit and fixing arrangements

Supply, install, test and commissioning of Indoor type LT Feeder piller box made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet outdoor type, CPRI Approved ,totally enclosed weather dust and vermin proof as per IS with front and rear 300 Amp capacity for RYB and half for neutral and insulated with insulators, including connecting incoming and outgoing cables necessary made out of 50 X 50 X 6 mm angle iron grouted at Floor above 30 cm from ground level Comprising the following including taking down old unserviceable feeder piller box, all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost includes necessary internal wiring for meters, CTs, indication lamps, etc and Rigid bus bar connections from bus bar to MCCB terminals connection Bus to MCCB/MCB connections
