Provision of UG Cable for Ring Main System at Meghadrigedda and Augmentation of Electric Supply for 104 Area at Visakhapatnam

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep in Soft / Loose soil for laying Cables etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Dry River Sand cushioning over and around the cable for cable protection in trenches, levelled and punned down complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The punned down thickness shall be measured for payment.

Supplying and laying un–reinforced Precast Concrete Cable Cover, Class HV, Type 1, Flat, of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying GI pipe, 100mm dia, Light grade for cable protection at road crossing etc. or fixing on wall / poles of any type, secured with clamps complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting Bituminous Road / Hardstanding etc. as required for Jointing / Laying Cables and Pipeline of width not exceeding 300mm and depth not exceeding 600mm and refilling after laying and making good with PCC 1:2:4, Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 100mm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying and testing HT UG Cable, XLPE insulated, screened insulated, steel strip armoured and pressure extruded PVC bedded, 11000 Volts grade [heavy duty] suitable for Earthed System with aluminium conductor of size 3 Core, 185 Sq.mm conforming to IS – 7098 [Part – II] laid in trenches, fixed to walls or passing through pipes and connecting up including taking down old HT Cables of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying and testing HT UG Cable, XLPE insulated, screened insulated, steel strip armoured and pressure extruded PVC bedded, 11000 Volts grade [heavy duty] suitable for Earthed System with aluminium conductor of size 3 Core, 240 Sq.mm conforming to IS – 7098 [Part – II] laid in trenches, fixed to walls or passing through pipes and connecting up including taking down old HT Cables of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Cable End Termination Joint, Heat Shrinkable type, Outdoor type, suitable for 11000 Volts, 3 Core, 120 to 185 Sq.mm, HT, XLPE Insulated, Armoured Power Cable with Aluminium Conductor and testing after jointing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Straight Through Joint, Heat Shrinkable type, suitable for 11000 Volts Grade, 3 Core, 240 to 300 Sq.mm, HT, XLPE Insulated, Armoured Power Cable Aluminium Conductor and testing after jointing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Precast RCC Cable Route Indicator duly engraved with letters "HT/LT UG CABLE", of size 600 X 450mm, 100 mm thick with Semi Circular Shaped Top made of RCC 1:2:4, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, duly Reinforced with High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10 dia, duly grouted up to 550mm using PCC, 1:3:6, Type C1 complete including necessary excavation and earth work and applying Two coats of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] over a Coat of Weather Proof Exterior Primer of same manufacturer as that of paint on all the exposed concrete surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machinery including HDPE Pipe, 150mm bore, 0.4 Mpa working pressure complete all specified and as directed. Note: The horizontal directional drilling machine boring shall be minimum shot length of 100m horizontal length in a single span and depth shall not be less than 1.20m. The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive for earth work as required at site for boring at starting and termination ends complete all as directed.
