10) Prices quoted by the bidder shall be firm for the entire period of Contract without any escalation.

11) The bidder shall interpret the data furnished and carry out any additional survey work, or

investigation work required at his own cost.

12) The prices quoted shall also include the cost of materials utilized for testing.

13) The bidder should acquaint himself with the site conditions including the access to Worksite.

The successful bidder shall have to make suitable access to worksites at his own cost. These

19) Minimum clear cover for pipe line laying should be 1.00 Mtr.

20) Contractor shall have to carry out lowering, laying of pipe and shall be transported by the

contractor as per JMC instructions.

21) Before preparation of final bill after completion of work, the detail of work done shall be

incorporated in Google map and auto cad map & soft copy & hard copy for the same shall be

submitted by the contractor to JMC.

22) D.I./MS pipes & valves or electro-mechanical item supplied by the contractor & remain unused,

shall be paid at 100% rate & shall be stacked at the place, instructed by engineer- in – charge.

23) Apart from the items mentioned in Price bid schedule if there will be any extra item necessary to

execute will be paid as per GWSSB/PWD SOR of relevant Year.

24) If Quantity of any item excess than tender quantity by more than 10% percentage than it will be

paid as per PWD/GWSSB SOR rate of year in which item is executed or quoted tender rate by

contractor whichever is lower/less for this tender.

25) During execution if existing services namely; water supply pipeline, sewage water line, cable etc.

will be damaged by the agency same shall have to be got repaired without any extra cost. Thus,

while quoting the prices, above matter should be kept in mind.

26) For excavation of trench, the agency shall have to locate first the underground services like;

water supply pipeline, water connection lines, pipe gutters, Gas pipeline, telephone cables,

electric cables etc., and thereafter upon taking the prior approval of the Engineer-in-charge, the

excavation can be carried out by using JCB machine.

27) The rates are inclusive of dewatering, if required.

28) After refilling the trenches/other excavation the excess stuff to be removed from the site after

proper cleaning as per directed by engineer in charge even to dispose the same to at any chain

age (Km) even outside the JMC limit. The contractor will not claim the JMC for the same in any

dispute for such carting charges.

29) After supplying the material, the responsibility of that material will be on contractors in terms of

loss/damages etc.

30) The pipe line is to be so laid parallel or crossed to existing pipeline /domestic water connection

which is at present running and as such during the execution of work if existing line will be

damaged. Jamnagar Municipal Corporation will not responsible the contractor has to repair the

same on his own risk and cost and for the same no payment will be borne by JMC.

31) Contractor is bound to make work progress as per given time limit of work and work quality is to

be maintained as per item/ IS specification. During work execution if question arise of

malfunction or serious complaint regarding work are noticed by department in such case JMC

Authority reserves the right to debarred contractor and no payment will be given to contractor

and all deposits will be for fitted by JMC. Contractor has to take clear note of this condition

before bidding for this work.

32) After laying of pipeline proper refilling and leveling is to be done as per satisfaction and

instruction of engineer in charge. Any other structure/ gas pipeline/cable of other authority

should not be damaged by negligence of contractor. Contractor will be responsible to repair

such damage at his own cost.

33) After dismantling the excess stuff to be removed from the site after proper cleaning as per

directed by engineer in charge even to dispose the same to at any chain age (K.m) even outside

the JMC limit. The contractor will not claim payment from the JMC for the same in any dispute.

34) During Demolition of existing Structure, the old reinforcement steel will be recovered from

concrete debris of sump by contractor, all the reinforcement steel, old scrap pipe and scrap

valve recovered from demolition will be taken by contractor without any cost and revenue

obtained from it will be of contractor but contractor has to quote rate of new construction sump

considering Scrap revenue generated from demolition of existing sump and pump house.

Benefit of scrap revenue will be given to JMC in quoting rate of new Sump tender. However, if

any useful material of pipe/valve in good condition is recovered from demolition than it will be

deposited to JMC & it will be JMC” s Property.

35) Any other structure/private property or pipeline of JMC OR OTHER area should not be damaged

by negligence of contractor. Contractor will be responsible to repair such damage at his own

Additional Performance Security (The “Additional Performance Security”) for an amount

calculated as under

(a) If the Contract Price offered by the Selected Bidder is lower than 10% but upto 20% of

calculated @ 20% of the difference in the (i) Estimated Project Cost (as mentioned in

(b) If the Contract Price offered by the Selected Bidder is lower than 20%

of the Estimated Project Cost, then the Additional Performance

Security shall be calculated @ 30% of the difference in the (i)

Estimated Project Cost (as mentioned in Bid Document) - Minus 10%

of the Estimated Project Cost and (ii) Contract Price offered by the

selected Bidder.

(c) This Additional Performance Security shall be treated as part of the

Performance Security.

(B) The Performance Security shall be valid beyond 60(sixty) days of the Defects

Liability Period and the Additional Performance Security shall be valid beyond

(twenty-eight) days of Project Completion Date.

If the performance security is provided by the successful Bidder in the form of a Bank

Guarantee, it shall be issued either (a) at the Bidder’s option, by a

Nationalized/Scheduled Indian bank or (b) by a foreign bank located in India and

on EPC basis, the provision of measurement will be applicable only for the assessment of value

of work done for inclusion in any interim certificate for part payment to the Contractor.

2. The Schedule specifies the procedure for all such assessment of the items specified in Schedule

3. Each item of Schedule-B has been divided into broad components. The Employer's

Representative shall assess the value of each component as indicated in paragraph 6 herein

4. Percentages are indicated against each component of each items specified in Schedule B,

based on the Employer's best appreciation of the value of the component as related to the total

costs of the concerned item as whole. A head titled (any other item(s)) is included in each

breakdown of schedule and the tenderer shall at the time of tendering indicate any additional

items which he considers necessary but cannot be covered by any of the heads indicated in the

5. The percentage breakup as indicated in the Schedule may differ from that corresponding to the

tenderer’s scheme and design and he should take this into account while quoting his lump sum

prices for the items specified in Schedule-B.

6. The contractor shall, after approval of his detailed designs and drawings furnish to the

Employer's Representative an initial bill of quantities to all major items, to be reviewed and

updated periodically with the Employer's Representative. This bill of quantities will be used for

assessment of percentage progress of the component at any stage. By measurement jointly

taken by the Employer's Representative and the Contractor, mutually agreed and entered in the

measurement books in the form and by the method approved by the Employer's Representative,

and signed jointly by both the parties.
