PROVISION OF WORK SERVICES FOR STRUCTURAL STABILITY RETROFITTING TO BUILDING NO P-25 MT GARRAGE INCLUDING UNDERTAKING OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES AT HQ SAC U TRIVANDRUM

Repair to RCC Members consisting of following treatments:- M&L for Treatment for locally damaged/distressed RCC in following stages. (i) Chipping of loose concrete from beams, columns & all other concrete surfaces to expose sound concrete beneath using light chisel & hammer & also preparing concrete surface to receive further treatment, disposing the debris complete all as specified and directed. (ii) Clean the rusted reinforcement by applying a Reebaklens RR Rust remover of Fosrocor equivalent, Allow the product to act for a few minutes, then remove the loosened rust by tapping, using a wire brush, or any other suitable methods. Ensure thorough cleaning from all sides, to achieve a completely rust-free and finished steel surface. (iii) Providing and applying 2coats of Nitozinc primer Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer of Fosrocor equivalent anticorrosive coating to the exposed reinforcing bars after application of rust remover. Also apply on the shear connectors/welded mesh/additional reinforcement of repair surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

(iv) Applying a coat of two-part solvent free epoxy resin-based bonding agent Nitobond EP Epoxy Bonding Agent of Fosroc or equivalent at rate of 2.6 Sqm/litre so that the old surface and new plastering surface can be bonded effectively. When the epoxy bonding agent reaches the tacky condition apply with ready to use fiber reinforced polymer mortar.he product shall achieve 50 N/mm2 compressive strength, 20 N/mm² tensile strength, 35 N/mm² flexural strength and 10 N/mm² shear strength as per BS 6319 standards. (v)Restore the cover concrete of R.C.C. structural members in two layers, by applying 25mm thick polymer mortar Renderoc SP 40 of Fosroc or equivalent, shrinkage controlled, polymer modified, fibre reinforced high strength cementitious based repair mortar shall be mixed with water in the ratio of 4.25 litres per 25kg bag of powder & directly to be applied on sticky exposed concrete surface using a steel trowel / shot Crete system and finished using a damp sponge and applying curing compound.. Note: 1) Rate is inclusive of all construction chemicals , labour and machinery etc complete, the contractor is required to see the site and fully be aware of the item that should be executed 2) Rate is inclusive of necessary scaffolding safety precaution etc complete.

Epoxy Injection Grouting for structural strengthening consisting of the following treatment:- Nozzle fixing– for epoxy/PU: M&L for Packer drilling, installation and finishing Drilling and fixing injection packers in RC members including, Drilling Holes: Drilling holes in structural members at the intervals as per recommendation of engineer in charge. Cleaning of holes: Clean the holes by vacuum cleaner prior to fixing nozzles. Fixing of Packers: Insert 12 mm dia., 50~75 mm long injection packers in cleaned holes with structural grade epoxy adhesive like Lokfix 45T /Nitomortar S epoxy injection grout or equivalent. Cutting of Packers: Cut the packers by cut of wheel after completion of grouting and filling with repair polymer mortar without damaging structural elements complete all as specified and directed.. Note: 1) Rate is inclusive of all construction chemicals , labour and machinery etc complete, the contractor is required to see the site and fully be aware of the item that should be executed 2) Rate is inclusive of necessary scaffolding safety precaution etc complete.

Supply and apply a shrinkage free low viscous epoxy resin based injection grout complete all as specified and directed.. Product: Conbextra EP 10. Product requirements: Compressive strength >= 80 N/mm² (7 days) ; Flexural strength > 40 N/mm² (7 days) ; Tensile strength 20 N/mm² (7 days) Note: 1) Rate is inclusive of all construction chemicals , labour and machinery 2) Rate is inclusive of necessary scaffolding, safety precaution etc complete.

Terrace waterproofing Preparatory Works a(i) Isolation of the congested areas, temporary lifting of Water tanks, Pipe line, cable trays etc must be done to enable application of waterproofing membrane and any civil related repair of structures like up stands, etc, shall be done prior to application of Waterproofing system. a(ii) Demolition and Removal of finishing material e.g. Weather course, cement plastering, APP membrane, Clay tiles, if any to expose the concrete screed / BBC-IPS surface and reach to the mother slab. Thorough cleaning work, removal of loose screed, repairing the damaged portions and filling any minor potholes with polymer modified mortar using Fosroc Nitobond SBR mixed with cement and quartz sand in the ratio of 2.5 litres per bag of cement. The vegetation growth around the drain pipe and other locations shall be completely removed to the roots with the aid of solvents or acids complete all as specified and directed.

'a(iii) Providing and laying coving at the junction of slab and vertical offsets with Cement Mortar 1:4 and admixed with Nitobond SBR at dosage of 1.5 Ltrs per 50kg cement as per manufacturer's specification. a(iv) 'Filling the annular space between concrete surface and rain water PVC pipe using non shrink grout after preparing the surface using sand paper and application of Nitobond SBR as a priming coat on the concrete walls. Mixing and pouring Conbextra GP2, high strength grout with clean and cool water at ratio of 0.16 on the prepared surface to make the bore packing water tight. The rate shall include necessary materials, tools and application procedure as per manufacturer's specification Note: 1) Rate is inclusive of all construction chemicals , labour and machinery 2) Rate is inclusive of necessary scaffolding safety precaution etc complete.

Waterproof coating including Protection Screed consisting of the following Providing and applying Fosroc Nitoproof 650 PU Fosroc chemicals two component polyurethane-based coating that cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a tough but flexible waterproofing membrane over the primed surface using Nitoproof WB primer on prepared concrete surface as per manufacturer's specification. Removal of oil, dirt, laitance and other contaminants by manually and surface shall be fairly smooth finish. Injection grouting of construction joints and honeycombs with cementitious pressure grouting with 40 psi pump using Cebex 100 @ 225gms mixed to 50 kg bag of cement including joints packing using polymer modified mortar. Chamfering the floor wall junctions with cement mortar 1:4 admixed with Nitobond SBR @ 2 litre per 50 kg bag of cement. Down take pipe annular gaps shall be properly packed using Conbextra GP2 mixed with water in ratio 0.16. In addition, treatment for Cut-outs, pipes/cables penetrations, bore packing, sleeves, drainage etc. The waterproofing shall be elastomeric, seamless waterproof membrane applied in 2.2Kg/Sqm to achieve DFT of 1.5mm thick having an elongation capacity of over 600%. Laying 200gsm non woven geo textile membrane over Nitoproof 650 PU coating with overlap sealed using synthetic rubber adhesive before providing screed concrete. Porous concrete surfaces to be primed with Nitoproof WB primer Termination to be done on wall extending the coating to min.300mm height above the finished floor level and sealed inside the groove of 20mm wide x 10mm thick flushed with polymer modified mortar as per vendor recommendation. The material shall comply to – ASTM C 836. Elongation (ASTM D412): >600 %, Specific gravity: 1.5 g/cc, Solid content: 98%, Adhesion to concrete>2 MPa, Tensile strength>6 MPa, Tear resistance (ASTM D624): 30 N/mm, Water vapour transmission (ASTM E96): 0.4 g/m²/hr., Shore A hardness (ASTM D2240): 67 complete all as specified and directed.

Item no 5 ctd.... Protection Screed - Horizontal: Fixing 3mm diameter, 50mm square weld mesh over the geo textile surface followed by providing and laying screed concrete of M20 grade of average 75mm thickness with a minimum thickness of 50mm at drain points and a slope of 1:150 or required as per the site condition at all levels by admixing necessary admixtures Conplast WL Xtra @ 200ml per bag of cement of Fosroc Chemicals or approved equivalent and mixing Graded fibrillated 100% virgin poly propylene fibres in concrete at the rate of 0.90 kg/cum as per manufacturers specifications. Treatment to continue along the vertical surface for 300mm height in shape of round Chamfering, curing etc. The concrete shall be provided with groove cutting of 6mm x 10mm at every 5m x 5m area, the joints shall be treated with elastomeric sealants Nitoseal PU 50 complete all as specified and directed..Note: 1) Rate is inclusive of all construction chemicals , labour and machinery etc complete, the contractor is required to see the site and fully be aware of the item that should be executed 2) Rate is inclusive of necessary scaffolding safety precaution etc complete.

M&L one coat of exterior emulsion weather coat(Anti fungal) paint over the old decorated wall surface including the preparation of the surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old treated surfaces of wall and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion distemper complete all as specified and directed.
