1. All structural steel shall conform to IS-2062 & IS-808 and of SAIL/TISCO/IISCO/ JINDAL/ ESSAR/ VIZAG STEEL or equivalent make with prior approval from BPCL only.

2. The structure may be Pre-fabricated with bolting arrangements bymaking necessary holes, shot blasting and painting except final coat,which will be carried out after completion of the erection works. Min. hot works will be allowed at site. It is vendors responsibility to verify the actual measurements at site before making the bolting shedule.

3. PAINTING SPECIFICATIONS :

The cost includes surface preparation by grit/shot blasting to SA 2.5finish of swedish standard SIS 05

After surafce preparation 2 coats of Epoxy Primer @ 100 microns per coat

Top Finish Coat :

2 coats of acrylic aliphatic polyeurethene @ 30 microns per coat.

Total DFT 225 microns minimum.

The rate includes the cost of materials, consumables, labour, tools and plants,transportation, loading, unloading, machinery, safety requirents, incidental charges, if any, all complete. | 42000 | KG |

2 | Supplying, fabricating and erecting in position bolted and/ or welded hot dipped galvanised grating (fabricated as per BPCL standard drawing)made out of contractors own MS flats, tor steel clamps in walkways, platforms, stair case treads etc. including cutting to required size,shape, making hole of required size, making the edges smooth, removing the burrs, getting itgalvanised after fabrication, fixing with galvanised clamps etc all completed as specified anddirected. Average mass of galvanizing should be min. 610gm/m2 conforming to IS code 4759.All material to be supplied by contractor. The standard weight of the grating shall be 50kg/cm2 with bearing and cross bars fo 25x5 mm. | 8000 | KG |

3 | Supplying and fixing MS railing works using squares, flats, bars, rounds, hollow sections (Medium grade tubes conforming to IS 1239) etc. and fixing rigidly to the Main Stucture using nut bolts and also including two coats of epoxy PU paint of approved quality and shade over 2 coats of Epoxy primer, complete at all heights and levels as per drawings, specifications and instructions of the Engineer Incharge. | 10000 | KG |

4 | Earth work in excavation upto required depth below existing ground level upto required depth including removal of vegetation,shrubs and debris cutting and dressing the sides in slopes and bottom, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, bailing out of water , supplying of Temporary supports to existing services line like water pipes,sewage pipes,electric overhead and u/g cables etc all if encountered, shoring, strutting and disposal of excavated earth anywhere inside BPCL's premises as directed by the Engineer in Charge, complete. Payment shall be made as per the actual measurement but not more than excavation plan.Also no payment would be made for extra excavation for making slopes etc.The excavated earth to be spread in loose 150 mm thick layers, watered, rolled andwell consolidated using suitable compactors.The density to be achieved shall not be less than 90% of the density obtained in the laboratory (modified proctor method) (Payment against this item shall be released only for the earth being disposed inside BPCL premises) | 5 | M3 |

5 | Providing and laying PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE for all depths below and upto plinth level in foundations,drains,fillings, non-suspended floors, pavements & ramps or any other works etc.including the cost ofposition cement concrete of specified grade including the cost ofcentring and shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating,curing, in anyshape,position,thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth,etc. all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. - All work upto plinth level-1:4:8 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand : 8 crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) | 3 | M3 |

6 | Supplying and laying in postion RCC of specified nominal mix using 20mm anddown size graded crushed stone aggregate in sub structure of all types e.g. trenches, culverts, manholes, pipe encasement, catchpits, drains, pits, etc.,including placing of concrete,supplying pockets,openings, recesses,chamfering wherever required etc., vibrating, tamping, curing andrendering if reqd. to give a smooth and even surface etc. all complete(including the cost of reinforcement, but including the cost of centringand shuttering)for all depths below and upto plinth level in any shape,position, thickness etc. all complete as specified and directed. Onlysteel shuttering will be used so as to obtain required finish. 7 | Supplying,fabrication,erection,testing and commissioning of different sizes of pipes for fixed cooling system to spray water on storage vessels,at 10.2 lpm/m2 as applicable for diffrent conditions as per OISD 144 latest edition and BPCL philosophy

Scope of work shall be inclusive of the following :

I) Supply and bending of GI pipes in the specified curvature(wherever required) and installing with necessary GI "U" clamps on the structural supports welded on the roof truss

II) Supply and fixing of the MV spray system (as per the approved design) complete with GI Pipeline risers ,GI rings,Pipeline fittings viz. GI tee, elbow, reducers,etc.

III) Supply, fabrication, welding of necessary GI half couplings to sprinkler pipe for fixing sprinkler nozzles as per required K-factor.

IV) Supplying, laying GI pipeline (class C ) on pedestals or UG from fire water ring main to risers and rings including fixing / welding of any support as required on the roof truss and for pedestal supports.

V) Painting of MV spray P/L, main ring and riser upto bottom by

Surface preparation : Manual Cleaning St-2

Primer coat : 1 coat of 10 micron thick wash primer followed by 1 coat of 40 micron epoxy zinc phosphate primer

Finish coat : 2 coats of Epoxy Polyurethene paint at 75 micron per coat of Fire redshade as per IS:5 or directed by Engineer in charge.

THE MATERIAL CLASS FOR GI PIPE IS HOT DIP GALVALNISED CLASS C HVY DUTY.

8 | Supply & Fixing Of Medium Velocity Water Spray Nozzle - 1/2" BSP Connection Materials Brass Make (K Factor As Per Design) With Gi Pipe And Necessary Fittings For Sprinkler System.
