DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Excavation in trenches, n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering & well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc. 50m and depsoited where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5m above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonary, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and block walling removing debris to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks in cement mortar (1:6), straight or curved on plan exc 6 m means radious complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floors and pavings not exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing debris to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description not otherwise specially provided for removing debris to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 150 to 200mm bore (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed. Note: Eacavation and earth shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation and mass concrete complete all as specified.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including weathering and throating including necessary form work etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone ggregate as in surface channels and drain, complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred / stopped end, complete all as specified and directed. ( Inner girth only measured)

M & L for providing pre-cast reinforced cement concrete landing, cover slabs for manholes, chamber cover and drainage cover and similar items with plain faces in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and setting in cement mortar 1:6 including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured and paid seperatly under respective item.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:4, including to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) finishing the surfaces fair and even, mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer instructions, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Ditto all as per above item No. 13 but on stone masonary or other than fair faces of brick surfaces

Supply only water proofing compound, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster including tiles if exists, from brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT bars 8 mm dia, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, binding spirally for hooping for columns hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips quality conforming to as specified and directed

S & F 150 MM bore Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid in trenches and jointed with collars in cement and sand mortar 1:1 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured separately).

S & F 200 MM bore Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid in trenches and jointed with collars in cement and sand mortar 1:1 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Excavation & earth work shall be measured separately)

M & L for cement concrete 1:4:8, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes of 150 mm bore including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1:4:8, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes of 200mm bore including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up existing cover of soak well / septic tank of any size and cleaning of same including dewatering and digging out sludge, mud state and removing the sludge to a distance exc. 250m and n. exc. 500m and disposed off as directed by the Engineer-in-charge cleaning of inlet & outlet pipes and tank with clean water and placing the cover in position, complete all as specified and directed.(Note :- Measurement shall be made for size of tank/soak well up to water level)

Cleaning of 100mm bore up to and including 150mm bore sewage line including manhole of any size and and disposal of waste material to a ditance n.exc 50m by any means complete all as directed.

Cleaning of 150mm bore up to and including 200mm bore sewage line including manhole of any size and and disposal of waste material to a ditance n.exc 50m by any means complete all as directed.

Cleaning of 200mm bore up to and including 250mm bore sewage line including manhole of any size and and disposal of waste material to a ditance n.exc 50m by any means complete all as directed.

Removal of all blockage of WC, bath kitchen, WHB traps, soil waste/vent pipe (Vertical or laid in trenches / floor any type / size) sewage line upto 1st manhole, pits of any section/depth and by way of cleaning / dewatreing manholes by using any type of manually or mechanically or by way any other suitable means including foreign materials from manholes, traps pits where required and directed by Engineer-in-Charge and keeping the sewage system upto 1st manhole function in perfect condition including final drop out from 1st manhole complete all as specified and as directed.
