REPAIR TO DRAINS, BOUNDARY WALLS CONCERTAIN COIL IN DOMESTIC AND TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STN CHANDIGARH

De-silting drain of depth upto 1.50 metre by rough excavation for cleaning existing drain and getting out in muddy soil including cutting small bushes, from sides of brick lined drain, including removing excavated materials exceeding 50metre but not exceeding 250metres and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar as in drain etc. cleaning and stacking for re-used, and removal of rubbish out side MoD, land, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for brickwork built with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

As per item No 4 here-in-before but except brick retrieved from demolition shall be used, complete all as specified and dircted by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavating in (soft/loose soil)trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out, complete all as specified and dircted by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavating in trenches, exc 1.5 m depth and but n exc 3.00 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and getting out, complete all as specified and dircted by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete(un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), as in drain bed, coping and sub base not not exc.15cm thick(below or above ground level) including removal of rubbish out side MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C2, using 40mm graded aggregate, in surface channels, bed to drains and similar works, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete(1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded as in other similar bands, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, and necessary form work complete all specified and as directed.

Metrial and labour for keyed pointing to brick wall in cement mortar(1:3), complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Each line wire to be measured.

S&F barbed razor type concertina coil of size 600mm dia (when unstretched) fixed between the existing 'V' angle post and barbed wire over security wall with coil of coverage 6.00mtr per coil, weight ofr each coil 9.5 to 10.00kg hot dip galvanized and binding with and including MS annealed wire of .9mm, including dismantling old Coil, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, including removal off dismantled material from site for credit / out side MoD land, complete all as directed.

S&F for posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, welding etc, and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; for portions framed and hung as gates, including pintle hinges, stops, hand-made sliding bolts, etc. and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/concrete or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc, and removing off rubbish, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick or concrete/ stone work, finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new surfaces of wall and appplying three coats of white wash, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L mild steel welded mesh n.exc 4kg/Sqm, having dia of wire 12 gauge(2.642mm) and aperature size n. exc 25mmx25mm, including welded to MS frame work and fixing in position, complete all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over acoat of redoxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of new surfaces of wall and appplying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion pain in camofluge pattern or other pattern as directed by Engineer-in -Charge, including primer as specified. Note:- Primer and paint should be same manufacture or Make. Make:- Appex ultima brand of Asian/Weather Shield paint(ICI).

Complete removal to existing treatment and preparation of old surfaces of wall and appplying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion pain in camofluge pattern or other pattern as directed by Engineer-in -Charge, including primer as specified. Make:- Appex ultima brand of Asian/Weather Shield paint(ICI).

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 78900.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No 107 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
