Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth for taking out / laying of under ground cable in trenches or cable ducts all complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil after repairing / jointing and laying and testing of cables complete all as specified

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposited at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above from the starting point complete all as specified

M&L for natural river sand as cushioning of cables including spreading and punning down all as per clause No 19.75 of MES SSR part -I all as specified. (Note : Punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose)

Supply and lay fly ash brick of size 200x100x80mm locally available as protection of cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge

Labour charges for re-laying of serviceable bricks of any size and type recovered during taking out of old cable , over newly laid or re-laid cables all complete as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting existing road / PCC drain for taking out / laying of underground cable and including necessary earth work and making good to match with the existing surface with PCC 1:3:6 type CI using 20mm graded aggregates complete all as specified

M&L for 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade galvanised for cable protection and sealing both ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified.

M&L for 80mm dia GI pipe medium grade galvanised for cable protection and sealing both ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified.

M&L for 100mm dia GI pipe medium grade galvanised for cable protection and sealing both ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified.

Taking down or out existing cable of sizes 2/3.5/4 core 10 sqmm to 70 sqmm from the trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles / through poles / under roads/ inside sub station including segregation the serviceable cable by cutting down defective portion after testing by meggar (insulation tester ) , stacking and rolling unserviceable cable for further disposal all as directed by Engineer in charge (Note :(1) Excavation / cutting of road or floor/ GI pipe & laying / relaying of cable etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule)

All as per Item No 11 here-in-before but for cable of size 3.5 core 95 sqmm to 300 sqmm

Relaying only serviceable cable obtained from taking out in same or new location or through cable ducts inside sub station of size 2/3.5/4 core 10 to 70 sqmm in trenches / ducts / along walls / poles / under road etc including necessary cable lugs, glands etc complete all as specified and as directed (Note :- Lugs and Glands will be measured and paid separately)

S&F in repair 160 Amp, 4 Pole Change over switch, 50 KA, 415V, 50 Hz, AC supply, I - O - II operation, manual type, open construction or closed type construction as per site requirement, adjustable type of thermal and magnetic setting, handle, including necessary cable lugs & wire etc complete all as specified and directed. M & L for testing of XLPE UG cables, for continuity or/and insulation resistance by Meggar and/or other testing machines and finding of faults in 433 Volt system and rectifying the fault and making the electric supply line serviceable all complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Items like cables, lugs, and cable joints, excavation, refilling of soil will be paid through the specific Sch 'A' items in this schedule. (ii) M&L has to be made available on the site on emergency basis when the fault occurs, irrespective of the time of the day. (iii) Contractor should take necessary night permission for his technicians, and supervisors after the awarding of the contract. (iv) The quoted rate must include the cost of minor consumables like, insulation tapes etc.

S&F in repair double compression weatherproof brass cable gland heavy duty , nickel plated of size OD 23mm-26mm (cable size 10/16 sqmm) all complete as specified and as directed (Note: The quoted rate is inclusive of disconnecting the existing cable from electrical panel board and reconnecting it to the panel board after replacing the gland.)

M&L for disconnecting, remove the electric supply of existing APFC panel, complete repairs and servicing the panel including remove and replacement of power factor contactors, relays, CT, indication lamps, capacitor banks, any make/ any capacity and calibration of APFC relay changing of copper wire for control wiring, for indication lamps, lugs, bolts and nuts and decarbonising, blowing with blower the panel board complete all specified and directed of capacity up to 250 KVR capacitor bank, complete testing and commissioning the panel all as directed and specified by Engineer in charge. (Note: - Capacitor, contactor, indication lamps, CT and APFC relay, shall be measured and paid separately.)
