Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50 mm but n.exc 100 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) of granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with machenical blower and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming /tack coat of bitumen emulsion @10 kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, 30 mm consolidated thickness using Viscosity Grade Bitumen VG-30, rolled to required camber, gradient and super elevation with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, mixed in hot mix plant and spread with mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Item No 4 & 5: (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE/AGE (I) before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate at market rate or procurment rate whichever is more for paving bitumen VG-30. However no plus adjustment shall be applicable, if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. (iii) Minimum two sample of mix (at different locations ) during the laying shall be collected and got tested from approved lab / Govt Engg College for their contents (as per design mix approved). Any deviation in minus side will lead recovery at double the market rates, if it is found technically acceptable or otherwise. (iv) Mix shall be obtained from automatic hot mix plant and shall be spread by mechanical paver.

M&L for prepaing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with machenical blower and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of bitumen emulsion @ 5 kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note : This tack coat will not be provided over newly laid bituminous macadam.

M&L for preparation of road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5mm thick single coat as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines etc., road marking of 150/100mm width using 'HOT MARK' thermoplastic paint (Hot application) white or yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter fillers etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to BS- 6086 of MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads @ 300 Gms/Sqm etc all as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- Thermoplastic road marking materials shall have the higest quality of raw materialts to provide long life and excellent visibility even after extended use and comply with MORTH 803.4.2( MoRTH 803), BS 3262:1989,BS EN 1871:2000, AASTHO M249,AS 1742.2,SLS 1384:2009 specification.

S&F in repair road stud with shank made of aluminium body of size not less than the 100mm x 100mm x 20-22 mm with a shank of 50 mm with two reflectors made out of PMMA material fitted in the body of the stud and fixed as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed Note:- Size and make as approved by AGE(I) only.

S&F road stud without shank made of ABS body of size not less than the 100mm x 100mm x 20-22 mm with two reflectors made out of PMMA material fitted in the body of the stud and fixed as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Size and make as approved by AGE(I) only.

S&F Speed Bump/ speed breaker to bear maximum load , made of PE plastic material with two highly reflective reflectors on either side moulded in PMMA material are welded with ABS base plate of required size as per directed fixed with metallic bolts and as per manufacturer direction for installation on road complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Size and make as approved by AGE(I) only.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete (PCC) in ground floor and paving n.exe 15 Cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation newly or previously untreated concrete surface of any descroption surfaces exc. 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enemelled paint of any tint over a coat of primer including all preparation complete all as specified and directed.
