M&L for servicing / preventive maintenance of underlaid DG sets at site comprising of the following activities: draining out used engine oil by opening the oil chamber, cleaning the chamber thoroughly, pouring the new engine oil, refixing the chamber cover with new gasket, replacement of various filters (diesel filter, oil filter, air filter), cleaning the diesel tank, clean radiator fins & air to air after collar & AVM pads, checking rubber seal and hose pipes replace if found defective, checking coupling disc on injection pump, checking speed governer for proper functioning and lubricating linkages, checking and cleaning air filter element, checking functioning of engine protection unit repairing instrument panel, checking and repairing of any leakages, etc.and replacement of small minor items such as nuts, bolts, washers, etc. are included in quoted rates of sch-'A'. Note: The above checks shall be strictly followed in the duration of two months interval

(v) Replacement of complete engine oil with new one Notes: (i) Preventative mainrtenance (Checking) shall be done on every two months (ii) The cost of engine oil and various filters shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate

M&L for repairs to radiator assembly of any make, vintage and designing by taking out from DG set and transporting to workshop for required repairs and bringing back after repairs and reinstating the same and testing on full load complete all as specified and as directed for the following DG sets: Note: The repair work shall involve opening of upper & lower cabinet of radiators by means of welding/soldering ,descalling the assembly tank by filling up and stearing the descalling solutions (i.e. soda and concentrated acid) with high pressure, cleaning the tubes with wire brushes and high water pressure. After cleaning, the leaking tubes and radiator body shall be repaired with soldering and brazing in sufficient size and re-assembling complete in unique shape all as directed. Testing the leaking portion with high water pressure and painting with one coat of anticorrosive paint and two coat of super enamel paint. The radiator of DG set shall be suitably fixed by means of nuts, bolts, washers and packing, etc. as required

M&L for repairs to 24V self starter assembly by taking out from DG set of any make, vintage and size including transporting the same to work shop for repairs viz. damaged spare parts to be replaced by new one like auxiliary field coil 02Nos., DE bearing bush, CE bush armature, carbon brush and clutch assembly including petrol wash and refixing the same after repairs and testing on full loads complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for repairs to 12V self starter assembly by taking out from DG set of any make, vintage and size including transporting the same to work shop for repairs viz. damaged spare parts to be replaced by new one like auxiliary field coil 02Nos. , DE bearing bush, CE bush armature, carbon brush and clutch assembly including petrol wash and refixing the same after repairs and testing on full loads complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for scrapping out old paint from base frame and external body surfaces of DG sets with emery paper and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) with spray gun including minor repairs to canopy as required complete all as specified and as directed for the following DG sets:
