EARTH WORK EXCAVATION WORKS

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) /manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.All kinds of soil

Providing and injecting chemical emulsion for PRE-CONSTRUCTIONAL Anti termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier on top surface of plinth filling, junctions of inside walls and floors, soil along external perimetre using the chemical lmidacloprid emulsifiable (IS 6313 (part2:2013) 30.5% SC mixed with water in 1:499 ratio. The emulsion is spread at 5litre/sqm on top surface of plinth filling, at 1litre/linear metre along the junction of wall and floor and at 2.25litres/linear metre of the plinth wall as per the specifications and directions. (Note: plinth area only shall be measured for payment)

Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with floor location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints system will be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / self centering arrangement and support plates etc. as per ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides floor to floor /floor to wall expansion control system for various vertical localtion in load application areas that accommodates multi directional seismic movement without stress to it's components. System shall consist of metal profiles with a universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various project conditions and finish floor treatments. The cover plate shall be designed of width and thickness required to satisfy projects movement and loading requirements and secured to base members by utilizing manufacturer’s pre-engineered self-centering arrangement that freely rotates / moves in all directions. The Self – centering arrangement shall exhibit circular sphere ends that lock and slide inside the corresponding aluminum extrusion cavity to allow freedom of movement and flexure in all directions including vertical displacement. Provision of Moisture Barrier Membrane in the Joint System to have watertight joint is mandatory requirement all as per the manufactures design and as approved by Engineer -in-Charge . (Material shall confirm to ASTM 6063).Floor Joint of 150 mm gap.

Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with wall joint (internal/ external) location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / centering arrangement and support plates as per ASTM B221-02. The material shall be such that it provides an Expansion Joints System suitable for vertical wall to wall/ wall to corner application, both new and existing construction in office Buildings & complexes with no slipping down tendency amongst the components of the Joint System. The Joint System shall utilize light weight aluminum profiles exhibiting minimal exposed aluminum surfaces mechanically snap locking the multicellular to facilitate movement. (Material shall confirm to ASTM 6063).Wall Joint of 100 mm gap.

STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes,channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and makingcurvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nutsand bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steeldash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size on the top of the floor or theside of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge,(for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be consideredexcluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.)

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch ofcorrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+0.05%), total coatedthickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade,5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoidscratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metreor as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/selftapping screws of size (5.5x55mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch inhorizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters andtrusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
