CERTAIN REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF CHLORONOME PLANTS AND SUPPLY OF CHLORINE GAS / CHEMICALS ETC AND CLEANING OF OHTS, UG SUMPS AND REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF CERTAIN CONNECTED ITEMS AT MIL STN JAMNAGAR

Repair / comprehensive maintenance of gravity feed type chloronome plants of 0-300 gms / hour capacity to ensure proper functioning and 100 % serviceability of all the plants including replacement of all unserviceable spare parts including carrying out necesary repairs as mentioned below, Items not mentioned in list but required are deemed to included in the rates for item No1 :- Notes :- (i) All spare parts shall be measured and paid seperately as S&F in repair only. Cost of labour is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Total chloronome plants to be maintained are 02 Nos for a period contract . A Minimum of 1 No highly skilled technician will be deployed to report and attand and carry out the maintenance / repairs of chloronome plants at Filter plant on a daily basis to ensure 100% serviceability. (iii) Cost of all essential materials which are not otherwise specified in this schedule but are required to ensure smooth functioning of the chloronome plant are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iv) Adequate reserve for all necessary stores will be kept at the site by the contractor to avoid any delay in carrying out the repairs. (v) All T&P required to carry out the work at site will be provided by the contractor. Cost of the same is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) Only skilled / trained techinians will be deployed by the contractor to carry out the repairs and maintenance of chloronome plants and attand the plant on call in case of emergency . Adequate saftey precautions including proper gas mask kit will be provided to the technicians by the contractor.

(vii) Proper record of repairs / daily maintenance carried out and duly signed by the Engr-in-Charge / JE will be maintained. (viii) All complaints in respect of chloronome plants will be attended and rectified on a daily basis. No payment will be admissible for the days when plant not worked. For a delay of more than 48 hours by the contractor in attending / rectifying the complaints of cloronome plants, a compensation of Rs. 300 / plant per day will be recovered as a penalty for the entire period of unserviceabilty of the defective plant. (ix) Contractor shall visit and check the condition of plant before quoting the rate.

S&F in repairs heavy duty hose pipe nylon braded, internal dia 8mm and wall thickness min 1.5mm for chlorine gas complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

S&F in repairs heavy duty hose pipe nylon braded, internal dia 20mm and wall thickness min 1.5mm for chlorine gas complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. .

Supply of liquified chlorine gas conforming to IS-646 specification by in empty cylinder of 100kg capacity including testing of cylinder. Note: i) Empty chlorine gas cylinder of capacity 100 Kgs (3Nos) will be issued by department free for filling chlorine gas extra cylinder required shall be arranged by the contractor . ii) Contractor will be responsible for any damage caused during transportation of chlorine cylinder and will make good if damaged without any extra cost to the department iii) Necessary arrangements will be made by the contractor so that at least two tonner of 100 Kgs is always available as reserve with the department in phase manner as and when required as directed by EIC. iv) Items rates deemed to be included for replacement of unserviceable cylinder valve (ISI marked), valve cap and testing as required all as required for filling of cylinders rent of cylinder. (In case issued by Department rejected by the plant authorities) v) Items rate deemed to be included for necessary testing of chlorine cylinder before gas filling and test certificate to be produced to department. vi) Empty cylinders shall be issued at filtration plant at Inf lines. Net quantity shall be measured and paid .

M&L for carrying out drinking water chemical and bactorigical test as per IS:10500-2012 viz,Colour HAZEN UNITS,Arsenic (as As), TurbidityNTU,Solids Dissolved (TDS)MG/L, pH value at 25 Deg c,Total Hardness (as CaCO3),Calcium(as Ca), Magnesium (as Mg),Chloride (as CI), Sulphate (as SO4),Nitrate (as NO3),Fluorides (as F), Total alkalinity, Detergents, Lead (as Pb),Sulphide (as H2S),At an NABL accredited lab and submission of test reports in 10 days time from date of collection of sample. Note :- 1. Item will be deemed to include collection and transport of samples in the manner prescribed by the lab supervised by Engr-in-Charge. 2. Lab will be got approved from the GE prior to collection of samples. 3. Location and time of collection will be decided by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE :- Each Job consists of two sample of water, Raw and Fresh water at Inf Lines Jamnagar

M&L for bailing / draining out of water, taking out deposited sludge and algae, cleaning of internal surfaces of under ground sump / over head reservoir / open wells by using steel wire brushes and complete removal of debris to a distance minimum 50 mtr away from UG sump/over head tank etc and filling crack with neat cement, washing the under ground sump / overhead tank using bleaching powder solution in 1st wash and sodium hypo chloride solution in 2nd wash and clean water in 3rd wash including one coat of white wash with lime to internal surfaces and marking the date of cleaning, due date of cleaning and capacity of under ground sump / overhead tank all as specified and directed for the following:-

(a) UG sump of capacity 2.0 Lakh Gallons

(b) UG sump of capacity 1.0 Lakh Gallons

(c ) UG sump 0.2 to 0.5 Lakh Gallon

(d) Back wash water sludge well at filter plant 1 lakh gallon capacity

(e) Over head reservoir 1.5 Lakh Gallon capacity on 18 mtrs staging

(f) Over head reservoir 0.2 lakh to 0.35 lakh Gallon capacity over head tank at 18 mtrs staging

(g) Back washing/ Alum dozing Over head water tanks

(h) Foot Valve chamber/Valve Chamber

(k) Sludge Chamber/Sludge well any size (removing sludge/mud up to 1.5 mtrs depth in sludge well)

(h) Raw water well 1.5 Lakh Gallon capacity

Note for item no 1-: (i ) The rate quoted by the contractor shall also including for remaining any plant weeds, residual debris, fungus & deleterious materials inside and outside the tanks and making good after draining out of water (ii) All safety precaution like safety belt, insurance etc shall be ensured by contractor before carrying out likes in OHT & other location .(iii). the following info shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint on the external face of the OHT with size of letter & colour as directed by Engr-In-charge, Area of painted surface not Exc 3 Sqm for OHT and not Exe 1.5 Sqm for all other UG Sump & Raw water wells. Size of sign board 3x1meter with (MILITARY ENGINEER SERVICES ,GE (A) JAMNAGAR , OHT ; CAPACITY LAKH GAL , CLEANED ON DD/MM/YYYY DUE ON DD/MM/YYYY) (iv) rates for all item includes working on OHT of heights upto 20mtr.

M&L for applying one coat of black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on vents 100mm dia of under ground sumps /overhead tank etc all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning of flocculator, clarifier and aeration system included water flow channel of Filter plants by dewatering the tank, taking out mud/sludge from the tank , scrapping out mud, deposits and debris from the walls & floor of the tank and filling crack with neat cement flushing the tank after washing with bleaching powder solution and including one coat of white wash with lime to internal surfaces all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(b) Clarifier tanks of Cap 1.0 LG

S&F CI vent pipes 100 mm dia bore, Bend type , ISI marked , with all fabrication and embeddinbg in concrete with CM 1:3 and 2 mm thick MS sheet suitable for UG sump/OHT with steel wire mesh fixing with MS clamp including necessary form work etc, and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint and fixed in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply install test and commissioning for MS black pipe, heavy duty, with conforming to IS-1239 including with welded joints complete with all tube fitting (MS flang,cutting,welding, MS bends, nut bolts washers, rubber packings,rubber joints gasket, clamp etc.) and fixing complete with clips,wall hooks,wooden saddle and dash through bolts ,or laying in trenches/ duct ,etc.,also cutting,screwing and waste and for making forged bends on piping as required at site duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, rising main, delivery pipe, over flow pipe ans wash out pipe in overhead tank fixed in repairs all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge for the following bore of pipe (Note :- These pipe replacement from overhead tank, height up to 15 mtr, quoted cost included arrangement scaffolding, laddar and connected item like PCC 1:1.5:3 for embedding pipe and making good.)
