Part-I: Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth up to 300 mm (three hundred millimetre), removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto any lead including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201 by mechanical means including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in soil in hilly areas in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work (both in soft and hard rock), chiselling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required, setting out to the required lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super elevation and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to technical specifications clauses 1603.1 & 1603.2, sorting out useful/ unuseful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts and transportation of useful materials for filling in roadways, embankments for grade improvements and levelling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and including all labour, machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means ( if required). Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all leads and lift of materials as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2014 clause 305 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) and curing complete including cost of from work in retaining walls / breast walls as per PWD technical specifications including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-10 (ten) grade for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-15 (fifteen) grade for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-15 (fifteen) grade for plain /reinforced concrete in sub structure complete as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 and 1206 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete of mix design to have characteristic strength M-20 (twenty) grade including form work and curing complete in sub structure as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 and 1206 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete of mix design to have characteristic strength M-25 (twenty five) grade including form work and curing complete in super structure as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 800 and 1401 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fitting, and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1001 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fitting, and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1001 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/ stone masonry / plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia.(one hundred millimetre diametre) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1V:20H (one vertical in to twenty horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 614, 709, 1206.6 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm (four millimetre) diametre G.I. wire conforming to IS: 280 and IS: 4826 in 100mm x 100mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stones boulders weighing not less than 25 Kg. (twenty five kilogram) each as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1301 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm (six hundred millimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1206.3 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 1206.3 and 1604.7 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine hundred millimeter) pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications for Rural roads clause 1101 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 303 as per technical specification clause 303 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Techanical Specifications Clause 401 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers wth paver in sub base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MORTH Specification Cluase 406 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying a primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base cleaned of dust and extraneous material with hydraulic broom or any other approved equipment and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.00 Kg./Sqm. (zero point seven zero to one point zero zero kilogram per square metre) using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 502 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) on prepared granular surfaces treated with primer coat and cleaned of dust and extraneous material with Hydraulic brooms or any other approved equipment and spraying priming at the rate of 0.20-0.25 Kg. per sqm. ( zero point two zero to zero point two five kilogram per square metre) with emulsion pressure distributor equipped for spraying uniformly complete as per technical specification clause 503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty millimeter) thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm (thirteen point two millimeter to five point six millimeter) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen VG-10 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to one hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per technical specification Clause 508 by mechanical means including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat with penetration grade bitumen S-90/VG-10 sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B and as per technical specification Clause 508 by mechanical means including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Semi-Reflective Traffic signs. Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm (one point five millimetre) thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm (sixty five millimetre) width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 (forty seven millimetre into forty seven millimetre into twelve millimetre) SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm (four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimetre), 600mm (six hundred millimetre) below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specifications and drawing.Three MS plates of 1.6mm (one point six millimeter) thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeters x five millimeter) size on back on edges.The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mmx5mm (twenty five millimeters x twenty five millimetres x five millimeters). The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 (two) Nos. 75mm x 75mm (seventy five millimeters x seventy five millimetres) of 12 (twelve) SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 (fifteen) grade blocks of 450mmx450 mmx 600mm (four hundred fifty millimetres x four hundred fifty millimeters x six hundred millimeters) 600 mm (six hundred millimetre) below ground level.The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x47mm (forty seven millimetre into forty seven millimetre) of 12 (twelve) SWG steel plate tube. Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.90 sqm Size Board. Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2mm (two millimetre) thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 70 mm (seventy millimetre) width and required message, letters, figures with reflective engineering grade tape as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour. Supported and welded on 47 mm x 47mm (forty seven millimetre into forty seven millimetre) of 12 (twelve) SWG Square tube of 3050 mm (three thousand fifty millimetre) height duly strengthened by 25 mm x 5 mm (twenty five into five millimetre) M.S. flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm (four hundred fifty millimetre into four hundred fifty millimetre into six hundred millimetre), 600 mm (six hundred millimetre) below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Grassing with large grasses (large rhizomatous type, like samll baMB Nooos). Planting rooted rhizomes of large stature grasses on slopes, including supplying clumps of appropriate grasses, spliting into separate viable rhizome sections, trimming roots, preparing lines, digging planting hole to a max of 5 cm ( five centimetre) depth with metal rod or wooden peg depending on nature of soil planting rhizomes at the spacing specified, and subsequent watering (if necessary). On fill slopes of 15 to 34° (fifteen to thirty four degree) and cut slopes upto 45° (forty five degree) plants at 10 cm (ten centimetre) spacing within the row; rows spaced at 0.5 m (zero point five metre) intervals including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Part-II Routine Maintenance after completion of construction work as per terms and condition of bid document that is Sr. No. 4 of contract data to general condition of contract and technical specifications of Ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2014 including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
