Taking down existing unserviceable geysers of any make and capacity carefully and transporting to MES E/M yard, dismantling the same for inspection, taking out all unserviceable and burnt spare parts, de-scaling and cleaning of tank thoroughly with washing compound or liquid solution, preparing surfaces for painting and applying one coat of milky white synthetic enamel paint with spray machine, writing MES No. etc as per existing pattern with black synthetic enamel paint, transporting back and re-fixed in the original position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately at S&F rates under respective item of Schedule 'A', however minor items which are not catered in this schedule, the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of the item. (ii) The contractor or his authorised representative shall report to E/M complaint cell at 8.30 Hrs on all working days to collect the complaint/Job slips and shall deposit the same after completion of the job duly signed by the users. (iii) Repair works to geysers shall be carried out at workshop in E/M yard. (iv) Repair works of geyser shall be completed and re-fixed within 24 Hrs after receipt of complaint slip. If the contactor fails to complete the job within stipulated time, a penalty of Rs 250/- shall be imposed per day for each complaint and the same shall be recovered from the contractor's dues. (v) Old unserviceable (BER) geysers requiring replacement shall be deposited to E/M storeyard.
