Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of engineer-in-charge.

Laying;Jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grades IS marked ,GI Pipe flanged pipe of following dia meters conforming to IS 1239-1990(Part II) having minimum wall thickness as per IS code and class of pipes specified below providing and jointed with flanges conforming to table as specified below of BIS 6392-1971 (latest with upto date ammendments )welded at both ends according to relevant IS standard and detailed specifications and provided with nuts and bolts of required size,3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber gasket or synthetic rubber gasket conforming to relevant IS codes including all short pieces,bends tees,and other specials extra made from parent tubes and welded with flanges of tables as applicable to the particular reach and of approved specifications as per site condition including flushing,cleaning,painting and hydraulic testing complete. The pipes and specials shall have galvanised coating as per ISW-4736 with latest ammendments..at following RDs.

Laying, jointing and testing of GMS pipe bevelled edged conforming to IS:1239 of following size and (M) class in trenches having random lengths of 5-7 mtrs including cost of fabrication of minimum 3 cut bends of required degree. The pipe shall have inside & out side Galvanisation at manufacturer work conforming to IS:4736 (with upto date ammendments). The pipe shall be jointed with circumferencial butt welded joints by electric arc welding with minimum three layers of welds so as to achive the minimum effective thorat thickness and strength of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 sepecification, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm of Advani Oerlikon (Ador)- CITOJET / Esab make, conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects. Each butt welded joint shall be tested with dye-penetration test ( with the kit consisting of 3 sprays of 250 ML each includes (a) Cleaner CL-96 (b) Penetrant PT-97 (c) Developer Div-98 of checkmate make) complete in all respects, including manual / mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge. (The earth work in treches and cost of MS flanges to be measured and paid for separately).

(Sumersible Pump Set) Supply of submersible RW pump set confirming to ISO 9906 suitable to handle turbidity upto 100 PPM of KSB / Kirloskar / Sabar / Johnston / Crompton / Kalama make instead of clean water pump conforming to BIS:8034 for 6000PPM or latest suitable for lifting water (latest with upto date ammendments) fitted with bronze impellers / suitable alloye. The pump should be fitted with free flow impellers of bronze / suitable alloys directly coupled to squirrell case electric induction motor of same make as (manufacturer standard) conforming to BIS:9283-1979 (latest with upto date ammendments ) and totally water proof for submersible duty , isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in in oil chamber, grease packed lubricated & provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand verticle loads with minimum wear & tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor including water level guard errection clamps, manufacturer cable clips & depth gauge etc. The pump shall be suitable for operation on data given as below:-

Supply , Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Star Delta Starter panel for submersible pump made out of 16 Gauge sheet, powder coated dust and vermin proof, wall/base mounted and front opening door type with copper insulated wiring suitable to operate 1 No. pumps (1 working & 1 stand by) each of the rating 7.5 HP through Star Delta Starter mechanism. Starter should be capable enough to handle the following faults like short circuit, over current, under current, over voltage, under voltage, dry run protection and phase loss with LED ON/OFF & TRIP indicators. Providing and laying copper PVC insulated armoured power cable (One cable carrying all the three phases) of suitable size and capacity to motors and all other electrical equipments as per IS:1554(P-I)1988 or latest with upto date ammendments of siemens /GLOSTER/IEC/ICC/EICO/NATIONAL/GRANDLAY make including all other accessories such as thinbles,flexible pipes,solders,nuts and bolts cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor.

Increasers with companions flanges matching with the relavant specifications of the accessories including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thickness as per IS:2712:1979 and required number of nuts and bolts as per IS:1364:1983, The pipes fittings and joints shall be as per relevant IS code & to withstand 1.5 times tatal head stipulated under item No.12. The size of the various components to be as under:

a) Suction pipe : One dia higher then the suction of pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1 to 1.5M/second in the suction pipe

b) Delivery pipe: One dia higher then the delivery of the pump offered and suitable to keep the velocity of flow from 1.5 to 2M/second in the delivery pipe.

c) Common header: One dia higher then delivery of pump will extend upto 5meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed .
