Replacement of Assembly Shop EOT crane rails

Removing existing nuts & bolts, rail clips, fish plates and other fixtures of EOT crane rails after loosening using rust remover or by cutting, shifting the existing rails and reusable accesories to Civil Store after straigtening rails in Hull Shop including cost of all material, cost of lubricants like WD40 for removing nuts & bolts, hire charges of machineries, labour, cleaning of the surface after removal of rail, other incidentals, etc. complete.

Fixing rails in correct alignment and levels (existing top level of rail to be maintained after fixing of new rails) including cost for providing & fixing nut & bolts 16mm dia. on the existing bolt holes, fishplates, rail clips and other fixtures. Rail accessories shall be painted with one coat of coaltar primer and two coats of coal tar paint after mechanical buffing of the members. Rate is inclusive of cost of all material (except rail), accessories like fish plates, clips, necessary packing for rail correction, labour, cost of transporting rails from Steel yard to Hull Shop for straightening & hence forth to work spot, hire charges of machinery, other incidentals, etc. complete.

Conducting topograhic digital survey (using total station) of the newly fixed crane rails and submitting plotted drawings and compact disc for the same. The work includes taking top levels & span of the rails throughout the length at 5m intervals for rail alignment work.

Supply of EOT crane rail R52 as per specifications including cost of rail, conveyance etc.
