PERIODICAL SERVICES IN SOUTHERN GARRISON INCLUDING CERTAIN REPAIRS TO PLASTERING, JOINERY PLUMBING SANITARY FITTING ROOFING FLOORING ETC AT SUNDERBANI UNDER GE (NORTH) AKHNOOR

Taking down old unsv roof treatment including PCC padding if any, plastering, removing existing bitumen felt treatment including brushing, cleaning top surface of roof slab, brooming etc incl disposing off debris from MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement and sand mortar 1:3 on roof surfaces with mixing of water proofing admixture as per manufacturer's instruction including finishing the surface even and fair to receive roof treatment, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Supply of Water proofing compound shall not be measured & paid seperately.

Roof treatment :- Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet as under :- (a) 1st Course : Apply a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384@ 0.40 Kg /Sqm on prepared surface of plaster and after drying of primer. (b) 2nd Course : Applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS-702 at rate of 1.2 Kg/Sqm. (c) 3rd Course : APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane, 5 layered, 3 mm thick weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with 160 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap, membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat, all joints. (d) 4th Course : Apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm over membrane and dusted with dry sand @ 0.50 to 1 Kg/sqm. (i) On Non-accesible roof : After providing (a) to (c) provide two coats of aluminium paint as per manufacturer instructions. to be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ (ii) Coved fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of required radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty around opening and treatment mentioned above shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar(1:6). Note : (i) Roof treatment work shall be carried out through approved manufacturers only or through their authorised personal only.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes etc. of PVC tank capacity 250ltr to 500 Itr complete all as directed. Note: All T & P required for complete the job included in quoted rate. "Note:- (i) Date of cleaning will also be mentioned after cleaning with synthetic enamel paint (ii)_Discounnecting existing tank and reconnecting/ refixing in position should be deemed in quoted rate"

Sunken Floor treatment :- Providing and laying of water proofing treatment to sunken portion by applying cement slurry mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound of make as approved including demolition and filling of sunken floor. (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @0.253 Kg/Sqm. This layer allowed to air cure for 4 Hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 Kg/Sqm mixed with acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.125 Kg/ Sqm his layer allowed to air cure for 4 Hours. Note :- (a). Concrete for sunken slabs shall be mixed with WP compounds as per manufacturer instructions before carrying out water proofing treatment the sunken shall be tested with water for 48 hrs for any leakage/dampeness is seen in ceiling below, then treatment is again carried out to RCC slab and it is again tested (Water proofing compound rate shall not be paid separately). (b). 50mm thick PCC at the bottom of slab and slope shall be 1:20 toward the corner of outer wall and GI pipe of 50mm dia (Med grade) be inserted at corner projecting outside 20 cm . (c). 15 mm plaster mixed with WP Compound shall be provided while concrete is green (d). Only floor area shall be measured for payment purpose. (e). Treatement shall only be done from approved manufacturer & name of manufacturer required to be approved from GE before treatement. (f) Joints of trap/WC/soil pipe shall be properly sealed with sealing compound.

Preparation of new or previously untreated roof surface of any description and applying two coats of aluminium paint over roof surfaces incl primer over 10cm grith or width not otherwise described all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhat or frames of door/ window with shutters (Without taking off shutter from the frame) exc 1.50 m and n.exc 4.00 Sqm each, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhat or frames of door/ window with shutters (Without taking off shutter from the frame) n.exc 1.50 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1.00 Sqm and not exc 2.00 Sqm each, complete all as specified and directed
