PERIODICAL SERVICES IN SOUTHERN GARRISON INCLUDING CERTAIN REPAIRS TO PLASTERING, JOINERY PLUMBING SANITARY FITTING ROOFING FLOORING ETC AT SUNDERBANI UNDER GE (NORTH) AKHNOOR

Taking down old unsv roof treatment including PCC padding if any, plastering, removing existing bitumen felt treatment including brushing, cleaning top surface of roof slab, brooming etc incl disposing off debris from MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement and sand mortar 1:3 on roof surfaces with mixing of water proofing admixture as per manufacturer's instruction including finishing the surface even and fair to receive roof treatment, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Supply of Water proofing compound shall not be measured & paid seperately.

Roof treatment :- Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet as under :- (a) 1st Course : Apply a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384@ 0.40 Kg /Sqm on prepared surface of plaster and after drying of primer. (b) 2nd Course : Applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS-702 at rate of 1.2 Kg/Sqm. (c) 3rd Course : APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane, 5 layered, 3 mm thick weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with 160 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap, membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat, all joints. (d) 4th Course : Apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm over membrane and dusted with dry sand @ 0.50 to 1 Kg/sqm. (i) On Non-accesible roof : After providing (a) to (c) provide aluminium paint as per manufacturer instructions. to be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ (ii) Coved fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of required radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty around opening and treatment mentioned above shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar(1:6). Note : (i) Roof treatment work shall be carried out through approved manufacturers only or through their authorised personal only.
