| 1.001 | OD72494/2026-2027:Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 10-Passenger Machine Room Less (MRL) Passenger Lift
Supplying, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of following capacity passenger Machine Room Less (MRL) Lift with regenerative drive as per NBCS as amended up to date having provision for barrier free access as per Harmonised Guidelines & Standards for Universal Accessibility in India , 2021 of MoHUA, serving different floors in the lift shaft as per detailed specifications enclosed and as under including all other equipment and accessories complete as required:-
(i) Capacity: 10 Passengers (680 kg)
(ii) Speed: 1.0 m/s
(iii) Floors: Ground + 2 (3 Stops and 3 Openings)
(iv) Travel: Approximately 6.4 metres
(v) Controller: A.C. Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF), microprocessor-based simplex selective collective control with provision for attendant operation wherever required.
(vi) Automatic Rescue Device (ARD): Complete with maintenance-free batteries to automatically bring the lift to the nearest landing and open the doors during power failure with capacity for minimum four rescue operations. The rescue operation should act within 20 seconds of power failure .
(vii) Operation: Microprocessor-based single automatic push button/simplex selective collective control with provision for attendant operation and fireman's operation.
(viii) Power Supply: 415 Volts ±10%, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, 4-wire system. Voltage Regulation: 350V-450V (SMPS based). With safeties for Motor overload protection , Phase reversal protection and Single phase preventer .
(ix) Car Enclosure : Stainless steel (SS) 1.2mmThick 304 Grade scratch-proof (Moon Rock/Honeycomb/Hairline Finish) on all sides with decorative Stainless steel (SS) 304 Grade no.8 Mirror Finish ceiling , LED lighting and ventilation fans.
(x) Car Flooring: minimum 3 mm thick aluminum anti-skid flooring approved by the Engineer-in-Charge and suitable for wheelchair movement.
(xi) Doors:
(a) Car Door: Automatic power-operated 900 mm telescopic/centre-opening horizontal sliding 1.2mm Thick 304 Grade stainless steel scratch-proof door with half-glass toughened vision panels.
(b) Landing Doors: Automatic stainless steel scratch-proof doors complete with half-glass toughened vision panels and emergency unlocking arrangement. Landing doors shall be two-hour fire-rated wherever required by statutory regulations.
(xii) Stainless steel handrail fixed adjacent to the control panel at approximately 900 mm above floor level.
(xiii) Voice announcement system and digital visual indication announcing the lift position at every floor for accessibility . All buttons in the car and all landings should have Braille signs
Indication in the car : a) Car position b) Call indicator c) Door close/open push button d) Emergency stop button e) Push button for fan and light f) Non-stop button g) Battery operated emergency lamp with rechargeable batteries. h) Battery operated alarm bell i) Intercom wiring with one master unit with two slaves j) Fireman's switch at main lobby i) Auto attendant control (inside the car)
(xiv) Closed-loop control system, regenerative drive, protection against voltage fluctuation, self-diagnostic control, overload detection and protection, over speed governor, automatic leveling, Final limit switch, tamper-proof full-height infrared curtain, alarm bell, anti-nuisance operation, fireman's switch, emergency stop switch, battery backup for fan and lighting for one hour, pit ladder, dot matrix LED direction and position indicators at all landings and inside the car.
(xv) Lift doors shall be provided with suitable vision panels (half glass door)to facilitate communication during emergency.
(xvi) Suitable emergency communication facility shall be provided for persons with hearing impairment through approved emergency alarm/messaging arrangement.
(xvii) Manual rescue arrangement shall be provided in the event of failure of the Automatic Rescue Device or any electronic control system. Manual winding handle for use in emergency shall also be provided .
(xviii) Site Visit
The bidder shall visit the site before submission of the bid and satisfy themselves regarding the lift shaft dimensions, pit depth, overhead clearance, Machine Room-Less (MRL) installation requirements, access arrangements, power availability and all civil, structural and electrical interfaces. Submission of the bid shall be deemed to indicate that the bidder has fully acquainted themselves with the site conditions. No claim for additional payment or extension of time on account of site conditions shall be entertained after award of the work.
(xix) Civil and Structural Works
The scope of work shall include all incidental civil works necessary for complete installation, testing and commissioning of the lift including supply and installation of structural steel members, guide rail brackets, inserts, anchor fasteners, support frames, embedded plates, buffer foundations, pit finishing wherever required, drilling, core cutting, chipping, making good damaged portions, fixing of landing door frames, scaffolding, temporary supports and all other works required for satisfactory completion of the installation. Temporary electrical power required during installation, testing and commissioning shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.
(xx) Statutory Approvals
The contractor shall prepare and submit all necessary shop drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, structural loading details, electrical schematics and all documents required for statutory approvals. The contractor shall obtain Scheme Approval, inspection clearance, energisation approval, lift license/registration from the Electrical Inspectorate and all other approvals required from the competent statutory authorities before commissioning. All statutory fees, inspection charges, testing charges, insurance charges and all other incidental expenses shall be borne by the contractor. The contractor shall arrange and maintain all statutory insurance policies required for the lift installation. The cost of the first year's insurance and the premium towards renewal of the insurance policy for the subsequent years falling within the thirty-six (36) months comprehensive maintenance period shall also be borne by the contractor. Copies of valid insurance policies and renewal certificates shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge.
(xxi) Operation and Maintenance Manuals
The contractor shall supply complete operation and maintenance manuals, electrical and control drawings, maintenance schedules, spare parts catalogue and troubleshooting manuals and shall provide adequate training to departmental personnel for operation, emergency procedures and routine maintenance before handing over the lift.
(xxii) Comprehensive Annual Maintenance
The quoted rate shall include Comprehensive Annual Maintenance (CAMC) of the lift for a period of Thirty-Six (36) months from the date of successful commissioning and handing over. The comprehensive maintenance shall include periodic preventive maintenance, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, testing, adjustment, replacement of lubricants, replacement of defective spare parts, recharging batteries in case of drain/ renewing batteries , fuses and consumables, repair or replacement of motors, controllers, VVVF drives, door operators, suspension ropes, safety devices and all other lift components required under normal operating conditions, emergency breakdown service, software updates, calibration, labour, materials, transportation and all incidental expenses necessary for keeping the lift in safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation throughout the maintenance period.
The lift shall be tested, commissioned and handed over complete in all respects as applicable to Indian Standards, NBCS provisions, Harmonized Guidelines for Universal Accessibility and the requirements of the Electrical Inspectorate, and shall be ready for safe and reliable operation. | - | each | - | - |
