Periodical Maintenance of SH3 to Purena from ch.0.000 to 0.850 km for the year 2026-27

Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying moorum on shoulder / Berm including all cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges etc complete for finished item of work as per the direction of EIC.

Cleaning the existing black topped surface with removal of foreign materials with brooms soft brushes and finaly dusting with old gunny bags or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment as per direction of E I C.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per Clause 503 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision)

Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheelede, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 508 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision)

White washing two coats on parapet walls and tree trunks including cost of white washing and preparation of surface by cleaning scrapping etc; complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Restoration of rain cuts with soil, moorum gravel or a mixture of these, clearing the loose soil, benching for 300mm width laying fresh material in layers not exceeding 250 mm and compaction with plate compactor or power rammer to restore the original alignment ,level and slopes and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
