Rasipuram municipality -Engaging Man power for operation and Maintainance of Under Ground Sewerage System in Rasipuram Municipality.

Total Yearly Cost for the Operation and Maintenance of the Underground Sewerage Scheme (UGSS) for the entire Rasipuram Municipality including operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of 6.96 MLD capacity with Activated Sludge Process (ASP) technology for treatment of sewage, including maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, supply of required manpower as per norms, safety equipment, tools and tackles, vehicles, machineries and all allied arrangements necessary for efficient operation of the system, including service charges for the service provider / agency, but excluding the cost of major repairs, replacement of major components, power charges, and consumables required for maintaining the quality of treated sewage water, as directed by the departmental officers. The scope shall also include operation and maintenance of: Main Pumping Stations, Pumping Stations ,Lifting Stations,Manholes, Sewer Line, including maintenance of all electro-mechanical equipment, supply of manpower such as Technical Assistant Grade I, Electrician Grade I.and II, Maintanance Assistant, Sewarage Inspector, Manhole Cleaner,Driver and Cleaner as per norms, safety equipment, tools, tackles, vehicles and machineries required for proper functioning of the system, including service charges for the agency, excluding major repairs and replacement works, as per the instructions of departmental officers. The work further includes maintenance and operation of the UGSS collection system comprising: Periodical cleaning of sewer lines and machine holes/manholes, Removal of choke-ups and blockages in sewer lines, Routine inspection and upkeep of sewerage network, Attending minor repairs in sewer pipelines and allied structures, Operation of jetting / rodding equipment and sewer cleaning vehicles, Safe disposal of silt and sewer waste, including supply of manpower, safety equipment, tools, tackles, vehicles and machineries required for execution of the work as per departmental directions.(including GST,EPF,ESI,EPF admin, EDLI and service charges.
