COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF STANDBY DG SET UNDER GE KOTA AT MILITARY STATION KOTA

Material and labour for servicing/overhauling and 'B' checks comprising of the following for generator lubrication system of undermentioned DG set engine and alternator: - (i) M&L for replacement of engine oil (ii) M&L for replacement of lubricating oil filter elements (iii) M&L for replacement of super lube oil by pass filter elements (iv) M&L for cleaning/change crank case breather (v) M&L for checking of aneroid oil & cooling system. (b) Fuel System : M&L for replacement of fuel filter elements, oil change breather, throttle linkage, Air piping (c) Cooling System : M&L for replacement of coolant in radiator, check heat exchanger, nuts/bolts, adjust injectors and valves, M&L for replacement of tappet cover gasket. (d) AC Generator : Check of winding condition, oiling and greasing of bearings, tuning of exciters, rotating AVR function. Replacement of unserviceable bushes including assembling and testing complete all as directed. Note : The servicing/overhauling & 'B' checks of DG Set shall be carried out through the original equipment manufacturer's authorised dealers or their Auth service centers only.

Supply only Engine oil 15W – 40 confirming to CK 4 API Category complete all as specified and directed. Make : CASTROL or Equivanent

Supply only coolant additive concentrator confirming to CK 4 API category complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out unserviceable water hose pipe and Supply & replacement of water hose pipe of DG sets of 500/ 250/ 180/ 160/ 125 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

~ditto~ but for DG sets of capacity up to 75 KVA.

Supply & replacement of unserviceable flexible fuel pipe of DG sets of 75 to 500 KVA capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & replacement of unserviceable flexible fuel pipe of DG sets upto 75 KVA capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting the DG Set and DG Set panel by thoroughly cleaning with CTC etc including preparing the surface and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade by spray painting for DG Sets and DG Set Panels including writing the name of DG Set, capacity and make with white paint complete all as specified and directed for the following: -

(a) 5 KVA to 20 KVA DG Sets

(b) 25 KVA to 50 KVA DG Sets

(c) 75 KVA to 180 KVA DG Sets

(d) 250 KVA to 500 KVA DG Sets

Supply & fix in repairs battery charging alternator belt complete all as specified and directed and suitable for followling capacities of DG sets: -

(a) DG Set 125 KVA to 500 KVA

(b) DG Set 25 KVA to 50 KVA

(c) DG Set 5 KVA to 20 KVA

Supply and fix in repairs battery lead set, PVC insulated multisranded copper conductor of size 70sqmm and 1.25 mtr long each duly fixed with brass clamps, copper lugs complete all as specified and directed and suitable for followling capacities of DG sets: -

(a) DG Set 125 KVA to 500 KVA

(b) DG Set 25 KVA to 50 KVA

(c) DG Set 5 KVA to 20 KVA

S&F Water temperature gauge including sensor and cable complete all as specified and directed. Make: Pricol / Yenkey or Equivalent.

S&F Electrolyte of suitable specific gravity for lead acid batteries in sealed container, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L reconditioning of lead acid batteries including replacement of complete cells, electrolyte filling of compound, initial charging & installation at site for :-

(a) 180 AH capacity

(b) 120 /150 AH capacity

(c) 90 AH capacity

Dismantling of radiator, taking it to work shop for overhauling & cleaning, descaling with acid, removal of leakage, welding brazing & refixing it duly repaired etc complete all as specified and directed.

M/L for cleaning the fuel tank both internally and externally by removing all the dust / sediments etc including writing of tank capacity, Date of cleaning and next due date for tank cleaning for the following capacities of DG Sets: -

(a) DG Set 125 KVA to 500 KVA

(b) DG Set 25 KVA to 50 KVA

(c) DG Set 5 KVA to 20 KVA

S&F in replacement water pump of suitable capacity complete all as specified and directed for the following DG sets

(a) 125 KVA to 500 KVA

M &L for repair / overhauling of self starter incl. replacement of carbon brushes, bearing, bushes, rewinding of armature and field etc. and warnishing complete all as specified and directed for the following capacity :-

(a) DG Set 250 KVA to 500 KVA

(b) DG Set 120 KVA to 180 KVA

(c) DG Set 25 KVA to 50 KVA

(d) DG Set 5 KVA to 20 KVA

Calibration of FIP from the authorised dealer including petty repairs to make the FIP functional for the following capacity of DG Sets complete all as specified and directed.

(a) DG Set 500 KVA

(b) DG Set 250 KVA

(c) DG Set 125 to 180 KVA

(d) DG Set upto 75 KVA

M&L Repairing of battery charging alternator engine mounted with replacement of rectifier, voltage regulator, diode plate and carbon brushes for the following capacity :-

(a) 24 volts capacity

(b) 12 volts capacity

M/L for tappet setting, including replacement of gaskets, springs etc complete all as specified and directed.

(a) DG Set 125 KVA to 500 KVA

(b) DG Set 5 KVA to 75 KVA

M & L Earthing complete with GI wire 4mm dia buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connecting to galvanized earth wire lead of 4mm dia as earthing conductor by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and all as shown in Electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part I and including testing on completion all as specified locations and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note No.1: The unit rate shall also include for excavation, earth work in hard/dense soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pit, RCC Grade M-25 (design mix) cover reinforced with 8 mm dia CTD bars @ 150 mm c/c both ways, funnel with watering pipe suitable size GI protection pipe, 32x6 mm GI earth strip , Char coal , salt, wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1 (a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl. page No. 347 of SSR part-II.

S&F sealed maintenance free generator starting pulse battery system, factory charged of capacity suitable for 110/75/180 KVA DG set of make : Kirloskar including necessary eletric connection complete and taking down unserviceable one, complete all as specified and directed.

Aluminium cladding for silencer pipe of DG set made out of aluminium sheet 24 gauge with glass wool of 50mm thick covered with chicken mesh complete all as directed for DG sets of different capacities including taking down old unserviceable aluminium cladding of silencer, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) suitable for DG Set 250 to 500 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Automatic voltage regulator ( AVR) suitable for DG Set 125 to 180 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Automatic voltage regulator ( AVR) suitable for DG Set 10 to 25 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replace battery stand moveable trolly made out of MS angle frame of size 600mmx600mmx200mm with caster wheels made out of angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm duly painted with approved synthetic enamel paint and provision of suitable hard wood plank of thickness 35mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of defective PCB electronic circuit of DG set capacity 125 KVA/180 KVA as per manufacturer, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling diesel Engine from chasis and disconnecting from alternator including disconnecting of electric connection of 180 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed.

Repairing of diesel engine generting set make- Kirloskar capacity 75 and 180 KVA & dismantling of the engine, strip opening etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge. Cost of following shall be deemed included in the unit rate of this item: - (a) Labour charge of complete engine top overhauling (b) Labour charge of turbo reparing (c ) Radiator reparing charge (d) FIP Pump & Nozzle recalibration charge (e) Transportation charge. Note : All spare parts for replacement / fixing shall be supplied under item No 43 below
