REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF STREET/ PERIMETER LIGHTS AND ALLIED WORKS AT SOUTH ZONE OTM AND MD ACCN AREA UNDER GE (NORTH) BINNAGURI

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, Pole, Laying UG cable etc. and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L providing river sand (washed and screened) cushioning for protection of UG cable (8cm deep before laying & 15cm above the top of cable after laying in trenches with dry sand of approved quality including fillling, spreading and pulling down to desired thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (Punned take of 18cm only shall be considered for payment purpose).

Supply and laying sub class B bricks available best quality brick in trenches for protection of UG cable with width equal to length of bricks laid dry and flat complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only old burnt old size bricks, straight or curved on plan, laid flat with width equal to length of brick, laid dry over electric cable for protection complete all as specified and as directed. Note: old serviceable brick obtained shall be reused.

M&L horizontal boring of holes, under road/ pavement / hard standing etc. not exceeding 10 Meters in length, in any type of soil, suitable for passing through up to 50 mm bore, galvanised steel tubing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (a) Pipe shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. b) Removal of surplus soil shall be deemed to be included in the Unit Rate.

S&F Galvanised mild steel pipe/tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground LT cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc including bricks, Gl pipes and removing from work site of unserviceable material and keep serviceable material for reuse in safe custody for any size complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation/earth work shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule)

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric power cable crossed linked XLPE insulated, two or more core galvanized steel strip or wire armored / PVC insulated armored cable heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 16 sqmm 4 core laid in trenches / laid under floor or fixed to walls/on poles / in ducts or passing through pipes etc fixing and connecting accessories such as Aluminium cable lugs, cable glands, nut, bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Earth work, excavation, Gl pipe, sand cushioning and protection brick shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.
