SPECIAL REPAIR TO REPLACEMENT OF BER TRANSFORMER AND DG SET AND ALLIED ITEMS UNDER GE (A) GANDHINAGAR AT GANDHINAGAR MILITARY STATION

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning including transportation at a directed site/ Room site of OEM manufactured static silent (Sount proof enclosure) diesel engine driven Generator Set capacity of 100 KVA water cooled, 415 volts (AC 3 phase 4 wire system of supply) 50 Hz at power factor 0.8, minimum, 12 DC electrical starting system. The DG Set shall consist of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with control panel standardized by manufacture, fuel tank with mounting arrangment and inlet outlet return inlet oil arrangement exhaust pipe complete and suitable for condition (capacity of engine alternator shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration) and vibration parts including all features to complete with latest CPCB IV guideline and comprising of following :- (a) Engine (Prime mover). Diesel engine to run the 100 KVA Alternator direct injection, type four stroke conforming to IS 3046/BS 5514, water cooled, naturally turbo changed, capable of giving adequate BHP to drive laternator capable of delivering 125 KVA at outdoor atmospheric conditions. (Taking all derating factor into consideration), 240 volts (As per manufacture recommendatoin) electric battery start with suitable battery, complete with fly wheel all standard fittings/fixtures as per manufacturer and including suitable panel with techometer lubricant oil, temperature, pressure guage and frequency meter and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor (ECPG) and engine protection system (shut down, high water temperature, low lubricant oil, oil pressure, over speed etc) fuel tank and first fill of lubricant oil and other consumables etc (b) Alternator. Brushless AC alternator, 3 phase, 415 Volts, 4 wire, rated for output of 100 KVA, minimum power factor 0.8, 1500 RPM, IP-23 protection class enclosure, induction class 'H' sailent pole, revolving field single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling with and to match above engine.

(c) Base Plate. Made out of structural steel as per manufacturer recommended designs/specification. (d) IP 23 enclosure with Class H insulation. (e) Platform for Placing the DG set of appropriate size as per company/ manufacturer reccommendation / as directed by Engr-in- Charge. (f) Testing Shall be Cariied out By IEM For Testing of DG set as decided by IEM i.e. 12/ 24/ 48 Hrs, fuels / lubricants, PRRB as per sample and registive load shall be responsibility of contractor cost of all Items shall be deemed to included in quoted rate all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning New Copper wound Transformer including transportation at site,including Removing existing old Transformer from existing place and depositing to MES store yard. Transformer of Energy efficient level-2,Latest amendmebnt IS 1180-2022 amendment no -4) step down outdoor ONAN type copper wound of capacity 200 KVA , 11 KV on HT side and 433 Volt on LT side at no load, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply oil immersed, laminated iron core naturally cooled with external cooling tubes, delta connected on HT side and star connected on LT side, corresponding to vector group DYN- II with neutral brought out separately for earthing, off load tap changing arrangements on HT side to vary secondary voltage +7.5% in steps of + 2.5%, with and including cable box on HV and LV side complete including finished even and smooth and applied black synthetic enamel paint two coats over priming coat all over with first filling of transformer oil upto appropriate level conforming to IS complete as per manufacturer recommendation complete with standard fittings conforming to latest edition of IS-1180 (part-I)-2014 with latest amend ment and mainly comprising of ECBC norms or latest IS complete all as specified & directed including following accesories all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge. (a) One cable box HV side consisting of 3 nos porcelain terminal points incl nuts and washer with two nos cable gland suitable for up to 3 core 120 sqmm HT UG cable (b ) Suitable cable box LV side for mounting two LV cable consisting of 4 Nos porcelain with brass bushing rods , complete with nuts and washer with two nos cable gland suitable for LT UG cable providing with bimettalic lugs .

( c ) Oil conservator with filler type drain valve and oil level gauge. (d) Dehydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent. (e) Explosion vents. (f) Thermometer pocket on tank cover incl thermometer. (g) Rating plate and terminal marking plate. (h) The earthing terminal two nos to tank to faciliate fixing to earth strip. (i) Oil level gauge. (j) Lifting lugs (k) Oil filling hole with cap / plug with connection plate complete. (l) Air relief valve plug. (m) four plan solid cast steel detachable roller for transformer (n) 01 No 100 mm dia dial type thermometer vapour pressure type having range 0-120 degree centigrade (o) All other items as specified under particular specification. Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to using galvanised iron strip 25×4mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Material and labour with special T&P like Crane,Trailer/Tractor etc for taking out the Old BER DG Set, after dismantling From Existing Position mounting base to MES Store Yard.

Material and labour for Transformer Platform of size (2000x2000x2000 ) mm with steps made out from brick masonery with morter 1:6, Rendering plaster CM using 1:4, PCC 1:2:4 at top of 100 mm Thick and PCC 1:4:8 at bottom of 100 mm Thick before Making Brick wall, at top 10 mm bar shall be used in PCC for strenghthinh the platform top .Excavation , removal and returning filling of soil shall be deemed included in quoted rate. all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth, for taking out water pipes, etc in any type soil, any type of other services like HT/LT Cable , Pipe Lines , Gas Lines, Road Path shall not be Damaged/ Disturbed if any services shall be disturbed by the contractor / his workers/rep it will be repaired / replaced without any extra cost , repair / replacement cost of specialist man and material both shall be deemed to included in quoted rate, all disturbed surface shall be making good to existing surface like road/path or other services upto satisfaction of Engr-in-charge all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exc 25 cm making good to existing surface like road/path or other services upto satisfaction of Engr-in-charge all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (Soil) not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed by Engr-in-Charge at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

Supply and laying sand cushioning for cable protection in trenches 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm thick above the cable compaction shall be measured for 18 mm thickness as per SSR pt-I all as specified.

Material and Labour for Sub class 'B' old size well burnt brick laid flate in trenches as protection to LT cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated , galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 Core x 185 Sqmm.

All as per item No 12 here-in-before but of 3.5 x 150 sqmm.
