REPAIR/MAINT OF REPLACEMENT OF LT UG CABLES, ACBs/MCCBs, REPAIR MAINT OF LT PANEL BOARDS/FEEDER PILLAR, APFC PANELS ETC INCLUDING COMPREHENSIVE MAINT OF APFC PANELS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT SMA RAMESWARAM UNDER GE FORT KOCHI

Material and Labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 M below normal ground level connected to galvanised strip of 25x4 mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I of 2009 connected to earthing test point or disconnecting / testing link including excavation/ earth work in any strata, removal of surplus earth, GI pipe medium grade 20 mm for watering and funnel, GI Pipe light grade 40mm dia for earth lead protection, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber with chamber cover in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 and taking down of existing earthing, all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth for foundation, laying of UG cables etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not excluding 10 Sqm on plan in hard/dense soil and getting out, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling Riddled earth to the full width of trenches for protection of cables including spreading and punning down including watering consolidation complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Punned thickness of riddled earth shall be measured and paid after cushioning.

Supply and lay sub class B burnt bricks as in cable protection, laid length of brick perpendicular to length of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old defective LT UG cable/ aluminium conductor of any size/type from trenches/ walls/ poles/ pipes all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, connecting, testing underground XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty electric LT cable,1100volts grade with aluminium stranded conductor,10sqmm 4core,laid in trenches/fixed to poles/drawn through pipes with suitable size cable glands, crimping type cable lugs, sockets etc. complete and taking down the existing cable all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement 25 x 4 mm GI strip as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting on old surfaces of LT panel by spray paint after cleaning strains and grease/oil spots with sand paper & thinner and painting the cleaned surface with synthetic enamel paint of existing colour to achieve good finish by applying two coats of paints by spray painting machine carefully after disconnection the power supply and covering the meters, indicators and switches to prevent from fall of paint drop on them all as specified and as directed.

Supply and jointing as in repairs straight through joint, outdoor type 1100 volts grade, heat shrinkable type suitable for 3.5 core, 240 Sqmm to 300 sqmm LT, XLPE cable and testing after jointing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement CT Coil suitable 250/5A for different load all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fabricating, fixing the CRCA sheet metal of approved thickness for the body/door of the LT Panel of required size including the cutting /removing of the existing unserviceable part, making the appropriate hole for proper cable entry/exit and with proper fasteners required as per site requirement all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement solid aluminium bus bar for 3 phase and 01 neutral of size as per the load or as per the specification by Engineer in charge, including space provided for internal wiring of the panel and holes to be provided for proper fasteners along with for as required including taking out of unserviceable aluminium bus bar all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix in replacement spreader terminals suitable for MCCB of capacity 200A to 250A all as specified and as directed.

Supply only insulation tape 6m long for electrical insulation, all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Rotary handle suitable for MCCBs of capacity upto 630 Amps all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for replacement of all internal wiring in 290 KVAR capacity APFC panel board of Make : ABB using colour-coded FRLS copper wires, properly linking all contactors, capacitors, voltmeters, ammeters, MCCBs, indicators, and incoming/outgoing power supply, including neat arrangement, secure fixing, and testing for proper operation, all as specified and as directed. Note: Power contactors, capacitors, ammeters, and voltmeters shall be measured and paid for separately.

Material and labour for comprehensive maintenance of 08 Nos Automatic Power Factor correction capacitor banks, 40 to 290 KVAR including repair/replacement of defective/un-serviceable parts during maintenance period, attending to breakdown as and when it occurs, necessary periodical checking twice in a month and testing of capacitor banks as per manufacture's instruction for smooth and efficient functioning of capacitor panels, installed at various Sub Stations and Power Houses. Note :- Spare parts shall be measured separately

Notes: (i) The Power Factor should always be maintained more than 0.95 (ii) If the Power Factor comes below 0.95 up to .09, a penalty of Rs.1000.00 per HT connection will be recovered from the payment. (iii) If KSEB imposes any penalty due to low power factor than 0.9 than double the amount will be recovered from the contractor as penalty for non-functioning of panel. (iv) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the charge for taking out defective spares & fixing of new spares and tightening of cables & accessories etc. (v) Cost of spares required for replacing shall be measured and paid separately. (vi) 2 jobs x 11 Months = 22 Jobs (The above job shall be carried out and measured 2 times per month for entire installation at SMA Rameswaram
